Tom, I have a very tiny kitchen with only enough countertop space for a V60 system, moka pot, and the occasional Turkish coffee pot. Ease of adjustment is best for me - I don't want to spend minutes turning a knob to change grind sizes - and a quiet grinder is necessary, as I suffer from constant tinnitus. So which of these Mignon electric grinders do you recommend for me? Thanks
Well, the Perfetto would cover all those bases, as you can turn from Turkish to V60 within one rotation, and it has the silent treatment. Thanks for your support, by the way!
I own a Mignon Filtro and it is an excellent grinder. I use it with my Moccamaster, I weigh whole beans for the dose. It is not silent but it is not too crazy noise-wise. These are all great machines, highly recommend.
Eureka announced a whole series of new Mignon SD (65 and we even saw a 75mm version at Milan). The company has been slow to make them available, or even to give us prices and, this time, a reliable release date. Thanks nonetheless for this video and, once again, to Silvia for her very clear explanations.
Thanks for your videos; they have been really helpful for beginners like myself. I have a question for you. After making my espresso with my Delonghi machine, I noticed that the tank's temperature was quite high also the water inside. Is this normal?
Thanks so much for this video while I’m looking for a grinder to pair with my Rancilio Silvia. After this video, my choices are down to Silenzio 55mm burr and Zero. If I only do 1-2 coffee per day, which one would you recommend? Thanks.
Hi Tom does eurika make grinders for other brands? Because I just came across a simular looking grinder with the name: la pavoni new kube mill Thanks Gabriel
I'm planning to buy the specialita for my espresso machine, I noticed that you already have one. Can you demonstrate it for Turkish up to french press 😅? No pressure 🥹😇
Haha, well that's a claim of the manufacturer. I have to be honest that I don't drink Turkish, and French press is extremely rare. I feel like the Specialita's sweet spot is espresso anyway. Cheers!
I do value silence, so naturally I wouldn't grind beans while my daughters sleep anyway (god forbid wake them up) I think I'd go with the Turbo, get as much job done in as less time as possible. Very Informative. Cheers!
The Eureka brand grinders are the most popular grinders in my local high end coffee gear store. That said, in most products I have looked at "silent" is a marketing gimmick consisting of some cheap dampening material thrown into an existing design that makes little difference.
The filtro/crono is the exact same machine as the 400 to 450 versions with 33 dollar espresso burrs. I got the crono for 209 and added 33 dollars eureka burrs.
Unfortunately, there have been no real innovations or improvements at Eureka for years. Especially in the single dose sector, the market has been completely overlooked and is not really able to become competitive. And even with new products that have been announced for 1.5 years, there is no progress. The “new single dose” was already announced there and also the new mill with built-in scales. Nothing has been published to date.....nothing!? If Eureka doesn't wake up slowly, the market will be difficult.
I have been using the Zero model for about a year now, and I'm super happy with it! Excellent value for the money.
Glad to see the whole product line side by side.

@@TomsCoffeeCorner That's what I thought while listening to her descriptions, and I appreciate you confirming that for me.
I love my Specialita Mignon. Cost as much as the coffee machine, worth every penny. Excellent review of their product line

Thanks for sharing your experience! It's an awesome grinder for the price!

Gorgeous grinders
Great video!!
Is the Filtro Silent still being produced? I can't find it anywhere.
Where can I purchase a Mignon Specialista in Rome?
Where this video is filmed? Can I go there and make my purchase ?
I wonder why they got rid of the Mignon Oro (angled version)
What's your favorite?
Sylvia of course 😊
Zero.

I have a specialita which pairs well with Rancillio Silvia
How do these compare to the Eurekas Stark and Dolce Vita?
Glass hopper is lovely :):)

@@gabrielmarcos1069 Hi Gabriel, yes they do. I’ve seen them also made for Gaggia, Solis and Graef branding.
@TomsCoffeeCorner thank you for taking the time to answer 😁👍
Silvia 😊❤

I have the facile, and I love it
Reinventing the wheel with a pretty face😂😂😂😂😂😂
Excellent

Thanks for sharing! I think I'd go for the Turbo too, if I had to choose again. Love my Specialita though!

Wgt wasn't the Libra mentioned?
You're right. It wasn't among that Mignon line, but it is considered a Mignon grinder, too. Cheers!
Oh my Goddess! She’s so elegant and gorgeous!❤
She’s beautiful ❤
Mignon Libra 💯
LED lights and the camera don't agree with each other. 👀
Yeah I know, I was trying to adjust the angle the whole time to avoid that. Cheers!
Oh well, that's minor annoyance, just film Silvia more and focus on her voice, we know those machines enough already anyway ^^

Silvia Belli, più figa delle Eureka!
