Ok let´s talk about the american dream for a second: You said that the positiv thing in america is, that everybody has the chance to pursue their dreams. I highly doubt that! Not everybody is given the choice to go to a good school or to go to university. Growing up in poverty you may not even have time to dream because you need to help your parents out as soon as possible to make a living. Since there is a lot of poverty in the US I don´t realy see how the system works for everybody or how you can say that the rich are reinvesting in the poor. Espacially looking at Kelly Loeffler having a net worth of 500 million dollars. She seems not to have reinvested that into others... And let´s not forget about the insider-trading... To support that every american can dream the american dream there need to be made adjustments (not abbolish) to the capitalist system. A capitalist system without regulations produces big winners and big loosers (poor and rich). To fix these problems within an otherwise good system there need to be some policies implementet. (Most of the time refered to by social or socialist policies. Pleas don´t confuse it with communism.) These policies would be for example minimum wage or making univeritys tuition free. Those policies exist in france and germany for example. And france and germany are definetly not communist...
Thank you Senator Blackburn for taking the time to share much needed information. I really enjoy your podcast.
