It was the Russians. Gazprom is being sued for €13B by Uniper for non-delivery of gas under contract, no gas was flowing through either of the pipelines at the time of the sabotage. The explosions allowed Gazprom to declare Force Majeur and renege on any compensation but this has been successfully challenged in the international arbitration court in Stockholm. It’s time to close the access to Baltic sea from these ships. Nato and EU need some balls!
Go Nordics!
No, we stay. Don't tell us what to do. 😁
Compared with the gas pipeline the reaction is instant.
The gas pipeline was nowhere near our costguard and police.
I don't think anyone is surprised about Finns capability to respond.
Because it wasn't damaged near Finland.
Breaking the cable is in effect a “switch” used to trigger a device ?
it will trigger computers to say 'no internet found'.
I am glad that nato responds to cable only but not to pipe lines.
they didn't response to communication cable neither. The German are too scared to do anything. The Fins got it.
Everyone was secretly glad, that the pipelines were gone.
Loss of the pipeline was a net good, less Russian gas to EU. Loss of the cable means Estonia needs to buy electricity from Russia, which is a net negative.
That's so amazing. Nice to see old friends.
Who blew up the pipeline?
Ukraine
Who cares?
The USA...

Ukrainian General Saluschny knows...
1:54 need to work on that background loop
Eu needs to demand escort boats for the Russian shadow fleet, to stop this.
it took this long to start patrolling the cables? hasnt that been a threat for years?
Mysterious sinking ships are like mysteriously cut cables I believe. Engine rooms do have accidents .
Thought provoking to be sure, in the midst of so many recently (claimed to be) unfortunate accidents at sea!
Russian proxies and puppets have finally understood that "trolling" does not refer to hobgoblins in a forest but a method of dragging the bait behind a vessel. In this case, an anchor.
The rest of Europe could learn something from Finland. Stop being soft on ruzzia and on sabotage to our infrastructure.
They can't install a security system to moniter the location when the cable is being tampered with? Not complicated.
Oh, really? With such genious mind and competence, maybe you should go give advice to FDF and the border guard.
Russia and China has increased the production of anchors by 70% in 2024. Next year the production is expected to increase by another 120%...
@-NiEr Whereas Europe has reduced production of absolutely everything for the foreseeable future.
2:09 The best Dieter from Sprockets cosplay I have ever seen! 😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
Finland: We know who did it -
Botskies: - don't tell. We still need to get paid
And yet another display of Russia's incompetence. What a joke of a country.
Good job Russia, up until now the finns didnt really have a reason to go nuts. Now you made them be active, i swear I think putin is getting money from Nato on who he can have more active in the alliance.
I agree. If Finns come to the conclusion that something needs to be done, they will do it, regardless of frowning of other countries. See closing of the borders.
I have trust in my government.
@@ClemensKatzerThe Finns do not fluff about.
She pronounced Alexander Stubb so perfectly
Are we talking about the same Russia that was suspected of bombing nordstream?
Good point, was it some ukraine divers who did it?
The same country, yes. The same military staff that planned it, yes. The same people who actively committed it, no.
Actually the crew is from India and Georgia. They are not Russians.
The straight-talking Finns weren't part of NATO then. Now they are, thank god.
Finland could give a small strip of their coast to Estonia, and Sweden could do the same with Denmark. Then Denmark and Estonia could demand that only ships with insurance are welcome in their territorial waters, due to environmental concerns (or whatever), and thus deny the russians access to our sea.
I don't think you have any clue how any of this works.
@@inso80 Of course I do!
I'm a random internet person :D
Russia know there will be no action taking against them that's why they did it.
gee wonder what the trails behind the anchor are at 1 59?!
This is why I don't think a tunnel from Finland to Estonia is a good idea...
Pathetic
I’d like to hear about the results that highly specialized interrogation tactics can deliver.
Interesting that they know in 1 day who did it with cable but don’t know yet who did the North stream…
Only 3 of the 4 pipelines have been damaged so it’s possible for gas supplies to be resumed, something that the Russians would dearly love to have happen if they succeed in Ukraine.

China and Russia. Not just Russia.
You forgot Iran as well. You know, 'the usual suspects'.
@@gordoncharles741 Iran? Nobody cares about Iran
@@tappajaav Then why are the Americans and the Israelis in such a flap about them! They can't wait to start a war with Iran.
They claimed at the time it was a Chinese ship that dragged their anchor along the St Petersburg Channel cutting the cables between Estonia & Finland.
That was a different case that recently happened. It was the Danish that stopped that ship. This time it's the Finns.
Even I know who did it, the same people that destroyed the gas pipelines!! 😂
Mark Rutte will have no active memory of anything 🤣🤣
They should send ground troops to Ukraine
That would send a strong message. Scary stuff though
"drob the anchor" * they dragged the anchor to brake the cable on the bottom
They know but NORD STREAM 2 is still a mystery? LOL
No, it isn't.
There is an arrest warrant and several suspects for month at this point.
Why are all the people who are so interested in this topic that they bring it up everywhere always so badly informed about it? 🙄
It's ruzzia
It's not.
No talk, act.
💪💪🇫🇮🇫🇮👍
Why not reunite the ship with his anker by creating a new artificial reef?
We do not litter.
LOL. Germany and NATO dont even know who did Nord Stream.
Just because they didn’t tell you doesn’t mean they don’t know
They do know. You can watch the DW video about it.

The bigger the NATO presence in the Baltic sea, the better for us Baltics and Finns !
NATO KNOWS WHO DAMAGE THE CABLE," BUT NATO DON'T KNOW WHO DAMAGED" THE GAS PIPE?
The gas pipes were not destroyed by an anchor.
they do, the one winning on it happening - Russia.
Ruzzia
Finland knows, not NATO.
They fried the cable...
Putler did it
Better yet; since the ship was used for means of illegal activity, it will be forfeit to the state as a tool for committing crime.
Whoops.
Already happening, by Finnish customs, as a gross violation of sanctions. And NATO will get to study the spy gear seized from the ship.
