Recently noticed that a majority of new homes in coastal South Carolina are using tankless heaters rather than hot water heaters. Are tankless heaters replacing water heaters?
First, check your manual. I have a Rinnai and the manual says that when cleaning is needed, it will display a code on the control panel. I haven't touched the thing for over 10 years, still going strong.
@@tgains7102 Hi and thank you. I assume you were on the design team who approved the owners manual. So if the manual is incorrect, why did you approve it?
I'm a sinner JESUS please forgive me for all my sins I know you shed your Blood for me on the cross at Calvary. Thank you JESUS for my salvation they your Blood. I love you JESUS. Romans 10:5/10....
Excellent video. Simple and straight to the point 👌
Great video! Now I feel confident cleaning the two different filters.
Never, ever heard about a filter to clean! Ack! Going on 6 yrs now! Hope the unit is not ruined.
Excellent. No beating about the bush, so to say.
Thank you Fine Home Building! Great video and definitely useful for PRO as well as DIY'ers
do you have a link to the circulation pump you used or something similar?

would have liked a little more detail with the vinegar flush
I have a soft water system, so I shouldn't have to mess with this, right?
How often should this be done?
Do I still need to flush the tank if the incoming water is not hard?

Anybody have the link to purchase the pump?
Get yourself a transfer pump from harbor freight, should only be like $60
That was cool! I am going to make a video on mine at Geek and Son
I learned nothing from this video. Thank you, Edison.
What pump is that?
It's Ryobi's hybrid transfer pump, painted gray. Worked great at first, but the impeller has been problematic.
I should note that the pump comes with a replacement impeller in the box.
Thats why I haven’t changed my boiler
😊
He didn’t turn off the gas first. If you have an election ignition it should be okay just to unplug it but, I like shutting the gas off.
Not that great at instructions. I had to find another video
