"Man needs a hobby I guess" Jokes aside, my favourite by far is the Mark 50, so much use out of it, Now Tony just needs to make a Nanotech Suit for every situation. Space, Disaster, Hypervelocity, Underwater, Construction. HULKBUSTER MARK NANO! that would be an Insane suit.
The Mk. L is cool. But, I personally don't care for it. Part of the appeal of Iron Man, for me at least, was seeing the mechanics of the suit, particularly whenever the suit was being donned or removed. I first saw Iron Man when I was nine years old, and watching as each plate was placed on Tony's body and then secured with multiple series of clasps and bolts amazed me. The suit looked high-tech. But, it also looked heavy, durable, and, most of all, plausible. However, with the Mk. L being comprised *entirely* of nanomachines, all of that is lost; the weight, the durability, those long, circling sequences showcasing the suit being put on or removed that could make any gear-head all wide-eyed with glee like some middle school girl seeing her favorite star... Gone. The suits in the past were plausible, and there was *always* room for improvements or experimentation (making suits with specialized roles and capabilities). But, like you stated, Tony doesn't need to make any other suit anymore. The latest model is effectively the perfect suit because it's comprised of nanomachines, which leads me to my second gripe. *NANOMACHINES DO NOT FUCKING WORK LIKE THAT!!!* I used to think that nanotechnology was the coolest thing in science fiction, until I started delving into actual science and saw how misrepresented such technology is. It would not work as depicted because it's literally impossible. First off, the prefix "nano"... Nano means "one billionth" (10−9 or 0.000000001). Let me illustrate just how small that is; A sheet of paper is about 100,000 nanometers thick and a strand of human DNA is 2.5 nanometers in diameter. So, whatever technology Tony is using would technically not be considered nanotechnology. Even if we make the size of the machines bigger, like around the average size of a grain of sand, we would still run into trouble. Yes, the machines may be small, individually. But, collectively, there are still enough of them to replicate the size of an actual Iron Man suit. This means that they can't just "collapse" and disappear inside of some canister the size of a tablet. Where does the power come from? How is it generated and distributed to the individual units? Do you know how many tens of thousands of these granular machines it would take to completely cover Tony's body in just a single layer of them? Can you even comprehend the sheer processing power it would take to coordinate the tens to hundreds of billions of machines that the Mk. L is likely comprised of?
*Sigh...* Okay. I'd like to apologize. Now that my nerd rant is over, let me just clarify that I wasn't attacking either of you. You're free to like the Mk. L all you want. I do understand why many people would like it. I just don't share that sentiment.
@@self-satisfiedsmirk5544 agree with you, i like the mechanical part of the iron man way better than nano tech as well. regarding your rant about nanotech, i think it was well represented in the movie, in a way that MK L is more adaptable in situations and shows great regeneration through replacing lost nanotech. I could be wrong, but nano tech here is the nanosized technology Tony integrated to build MK L much like a human is composed of cells I believe.
@@eyo.. Well, there are two issues with that interpretation of the "nanomachines" that comprise the Mk. L. The first issue is that the nanomachines that comprise the Mk. This little detail was something that I appreciated, as it implied that there were a finite number of them that Tony could control. As for the thing about the nanomachines being self-replicating... If they did have the capabilities of Von Neumann devices, we would have to see them "devour" any useful object around (i.e metal beams, lamps, fire hydrants, concrete, plants, etc.) in order to attain the raw materials necessary to construct more of themselves.

The reasons given for the arc reactor in Tony's chest seems inconsistently explained in the movies, but as I recall in IM1, he is hit with one of Stark Industries' rockets, which sends shrapnel into the bloodstream, eventually killing the victim. The arc reactor is created to power the electromagnet which keeps the shrapnel from reaching Tony's heart. That's how it's keeping him alive. And it powers the Mark I suit (and later the Mark III temporarily). It's not powering his heart or keeping it beating properly like a pacemaker, nor is it a replacement for his heart. Most convincing hypothesis I’ve heard is that Mk 48 was the 2nd Hulkbuster armor and Mk 49 was an unseen prototype for the Mk 50 (being such a different design using nanotech could certainly warrant a prototype)
2:20 The Mk4 armour also allowed the user to wear normal loose fitting clothes under the armour as compared the tight compression like clothes that had to be worn under Mk2 and Mk3
I love how he considers the mark ten as the “first advanced armor” when the mark two is already a technological marvel. Get it? And I didn’t even mean to make that pun. Okay I’ll shut up.
The mk 42 is by far my favourite suit tony has had yet, I just love the predominant use of the yellow beautiful, the Mk 47 The spiderman homecoming suit is really dope too
To be honest, their quality was falling with every new suit, making them more and more glass cannons than "iron man" armor. Ultimately, they were useless as suits Tony would wear and he did created his own robots for purpose of support.
Man Igor looks so flipping cool, I’m loving that blue and silver color scheme too!!!! I just wish we could have gotten more of it without it feeling awkwardly shoved in because it definitely wouldn’t fit in as much as the Hulk Buster would have, even though I’m pretty sure it’s supposed to be a big inspiration for/from the Hulk Buster (I’m pretty sure it would be for because if tony had already made Hulk Buster MK1 by Iron Man 3 he would have blown it up at the end of the movie so I’m pretty sure it inspired the HB MK1)
He seriously should have used his obscene level of wealth to train a team of private contractors to operate its other suits. That would have been very helpful fighting Thanos with 48 iron man suits.
@@bl8danjil Besides with the exception of War Machine and Iron Heart most people Tony has trusted with the armor have been untrustworthy to say the least. The Punisher has gone AWOL with a War Machine once, them there's the whole Armor wars story, the anime was about Tony trying to retire only for the guy he entrusted the suit to being evil and using it to take over Japan. The time he went assaulting his rouges gallery because he believed they stole his patents when it was obviously Hammer. The list goes on.
If i recall correctly, Tony Stark would never trust anyone but himself and his closest friends (EG: Rhodey, Pepper, Peter, and Bruce. and perhaps some other Avengers), to operate suits of his design. And for good reason. There's no guarantee that the random Private Contractors wouldn't try to make off with the suits and try to use them for their own selfish desires.

@@Don-Yeti This I would like to know also. However, I feel this is just some wishful thinking by Jeswin joseph. But I do hope we do see that armor in the Endgame movie just the same. Or perhaps the likely far more powerful Endosym Armor, that seems much more advanced than the #50 armor shown in the movie. That would be bad ass.
the first problem that tony needs to finish on the suit is the armor needs to withstand the thiccness of thanos and that is impossible so don’t get your hopes up because if tony tries to make this he won’t be able to make the armor withstand the thiccness of thanos and tony will die
I’d say that the mark 48 is the hulk buster we see in infinity war, with 49 being an unperfected, weaker version of the mark 50, which also fits the pattern of Tony working on a concept and then with the next, perfecting it

That’s what I was thinking. Maybe in a future movie we can see a MK 51 made out of vibranium since Wakanda has became public and vibranium would become more common. I think maybe the white suits the avengers were wearing in the Endgame trailer are made out of vibranium
The Mark 47 isn't the first suit to be controlled remotely. Remember when tony rescues all the people falling out of Air Force one in Iron Man 3 with the Mk 42? He wasn't in the suit there

And as long as we are talking LEGO, how come the leaked Endgame suit is Mark *_85_* ??? What happened to 51-84???
@@t65bx25 I didn't know it was 85, I thought it was 51
Fynii That would make way more sense, maybe I misheard. But if it is 85, then I have my money on a third Iron Legion.

I love how he considers the mark ten as the “first advanced armor” when the mark two is already a technological marvel.

Mark 51: improved version of the Mark 50 but it has hologram shields and capability to hold the Infinity Stones
In endgame he uses mark 85 dumbass
How u gonna act so confident and be wrong. It’s the mk85 In endgame

Hello gentlemen
I'm very annoyed that Tony built 35 suits and destroyed all of them
I mean I love Iron Man 3 but still
Edit: Wow, thanks for the likes everyone
Cosmo the blue peashooter same
Yeah.... even Igor. :'''(
To be honest, their quality was falling with every new suit, making them more and more glass cannons than "iron man" armor.
Ultimately, they were useless as suits Tony would wear and he did created his own robots for purpose of support.
that was pretty useful if in infinity war right?!
I'm pretty sure he still has the blueprints for the suits but the material for the suits were pretty expensive so it was still a big loss
Its a bird
Its a plane
Its a falling suitcase turning into a iron man suit
Congrats. You made me laugh
*an
Me at meeting: *brings out suite case* ok guys *accidentally turns into suit* OOPS WRONG SUITCASE
Most of the armors were destroyed in Iron Man 3.
Other people having access to Iron Man tech is what sparked the Armor Wars...

Iron man would be a brilliant xenos killer

He'd be amazing in almost any Universe (unless we put him in something even more overpowered and over the top than Marvel itself! He'd have a hard time in 40K IMHO, but most others? Yeah, Tony Stark would kick ass!)

The stealth feature was mentioned in a lot of the armour's but we have yet to see it on screen. Plus it was mentioned in Iron man 3. Perhaps endgame will finally see that stealth tech come into play.

I rather see a variation of the endo sym armor using vibranium
Confirmed for Endgame?
@@jimmy282304 agreed
I’d say that the mark 48 is the hulk buster we see in infinity war, with 49 being an unperfected, weaker version of the mark 50, which also fits the pattern of Tony working on a concept and then with the next, perfecting it
These suits would've been really useful against Thanos even without pilots and using AI(Like in Iron Man 3)
He was fighting thanks in space thus there was no WiFi for connecting an AI to it even if there were suits remaining
