I know you wanted to avoid using race-swap stuff back in the main campaign, but how about this: Back off from Haven, let Selendis deal with it; Race Swap Protos, purge Colonists, Skytoss Composition. Or Alternatively; Race Swap Zerg, Defend Colonists, Centre unit composition around Infestors
Brood war has the perfect answer to capital ships: Scourge! They're flying banelings! After the memory missions we should go to Haven to get vikings. We'll need some decent anti-air, so bring goliaths. And the goliaths will need some help with ground targets, so bring banshees and maybe a liberator or two. Yes, our ground units shoot up and our air units shoot down. In fact, add in any more units I'm missing that are better vs the elevation they are not.
I vote for you getting the research on that mission since nobody knew that by choosing another race we would be forcing you to not get the bonus objectives tho

I found myself angry saying scrouge at the screen a few too many times. I hope we get to see a massive scourge swarm take down a capital at some point or other lol
I feel like the game makes far more sense in realscale. Protoss are terrifying and powerful, zerg are swarmy and expendable and terrans are adaptive. This mod really make you wish for a brand new campaign/game where the size of missions would compliment realscale.
It makes sense yes, but it is not a good game design, for being able to be easy to learn to play, so there are very good reasons why blizzard did not go with something like this

Is the Voidray anti-air single target without splash? Swarms of Muta/Scourges would probably fare well if thats the case, though those random storms and Archons are insanely well equipped against Zerg
For Echoes of the Future I propose Terran starcraft 2 units only. Basic goal being units of the future, and so prioritizing the latest units such as the Liberator, and Cyclone, then Warhound, Widow Mine, and Hellbat.
Its a tiny bit away, but for In utter darkness: Its a defense mission, so its mandatory to be played as Terran at least for once. And for the composition, its time for the Hybrid to finally learn the power of the Gray Aramada! Go full Big ship energy, as many of them as possible. Every other unit also allowed, but try to minimize the use of them as much as possible.
In utter Darkness the world should end with a Bang. Raceswap to Zerg, and play with only Starting Units, Banelings, Scourge and Anything else that explodes and I forgot.
Mengsk has only good memories of Korhal getting nuked, so your Media Blitz composition should be the Oodin for defense only, and nukes everywhere else.
I love sc1 hydras They're just a great 1.5 tier generalist, they complement the zerg melee focus, they're not too expensive, cost a bit of gas but not too much, they're flavourful with the zeg quantity over quality focus

Set up for Media Blitz on Korhal. Odin has decided to send a message by trying to invade the 9 realms starting with the three bases on Korhal. After his initial attempt is rebuffed and he needs time to recover he sends his son Thor (you are allowed only 1 Thor) and a prophecy down to his believers The Vikings. Thor must now lead the viKings to complete the mission given to him by his father Odin. Odin is also willing to accept monetary tribute(gas and minerals only) brought by Hercules to his door step.
Tyrador: leapfrogging hercules. The only air units Grant may have at any given time are 2 hercules. He may rebuild as necessary And he may only have 1 active on the map at a time. The other must be sent out for resources. When 1 returns, he must immediately unload the other and send it out on a mission. He may not send out for units. Only resources. As for ground units he's allowed... I'm thinking only starting units, rescued units, and medics. He must keep his limited supply of combat units healthy with hercules micro and ferrying in medics and scvs to keep them healthy while actively rescuing more units. I think this will be a little bit of a wacky challenge. But it could be fun and interesting.
I'll say what I said last time, use the same comp as on Valhalla, but you unlock units from each base you kill (Destroy the barracks base and you can any build infantry from it, destroy the air and you can build starports there and make any ships from them, destroy the factory base and put your own factory there and you can build any vehicle from it)

For Tyrador, since it is a torch and burn op technically, go full demolitionist. Mass marauders and reapers for their explosives, with firebats as well to help burn anything else. Transport them via hercules, and give the hercules any air support of your choice (That can deal with air targets)
since the next protoss mission is about the colossus, then how about this: Wrath of the Titans: playing as protoss, you can only use the biggest of the boys u have available (if none of ur big boys have anti air, then u're free to make stalkers to deal with air units) as for what i consider big boys: anything the size of a scout or above is free to be used

I think its fine if you reload a save and use cheats to finish this mission quickly so you don't miss out on the research. I think its kind of unfair if you do these missions and you flatly cannot get the bonuses with other races. The thing that matters is beating it the first time with the community challenge.

Swann has a tighter advantage on Marauder, Thor, and Spectre manufacturing, so these should be the ones uploading at each terminal. But you have to prove their effectiveness, so they need kills equal to 10 times their supply before they can sit on the point. This unit spread is still pretty lax though. You've got Vikings, siege tanks, banshees, etc.
Why not using the pingouins brothers (Uthermal composition) ?? Main unit : Hellbat and viking extended version include also : Marauder, thor and the merc version and since it's a Uthermal composition why not a pf rush. i have no idea for a mission

Haven's Fall, Siege Tanks, Firebats, Hellions, Liberators, Banshee Siege Tanks to let you hold out as long as you need for Firebats and Hellions to manage the task at hand, Liberators for anti-air and because AMERICA. Banshee's because bombing the houses. Cus I know you love Fire.

I finally have one: Korhal, your assaulting a fortified planet so why not show them how to do it properly - Planetary Fortress, nothing says "Go Away" more then an big building with big guns - Missile Turrets & Bunkers (with Marine's inside) to defend the choke points & shoe away that pesky air - Siege Tanks & Vulture's, to create a kill zone of pure mined death ensuring only the toughest enemies can even think of approaching As they say "The best offense is a good defense" so get defensively aggressive Commander

Actually he could have still got the research as zerg, he just needed to make 1 infestor with neural parasite to target a probe.
