@@mrdan5943 Dude, it just a joke about him being so good than in a basic song he "had to focus" because it's a simple 4/4 . His face, I suppose, it's like that because he is really enjoying the moment. Damn, he is just too good and I love him.
I'm a 47 yr old prog rock junkie. Smashing Pumpkins were hitting the scene my junior year of high school. I had all their albums at one time. This is sincerely one of my favorite covers of all time. Well done.
Was never a fan of Billy Corgan's voice, but this song I always enjoyed. I can safely say I will always just listen to this version and be 100% content.
I love seeing this side of the band. Have had the opportunity to meet the guys in Minneapolis and Chicago and they are the nicest, most sincere group of musicians I have met in a while. It truly felt like they wanted to hear what their fans had to say, and took it to heart. Much love to you all in TC!
Cody Decker I met Michael a long time ago at a venue here in St. Louis. Dude was super nice, was willing to talk to us fans. I asked him if he was still in Last Chance to Reason, that was how long ago it was haha. He’s seemed like he was almost a friend of ours even though we just met him. I love this band.
I compose for film and have mild synesthesia. Discovered this song on Spotify and I listen to it every day. Absolutely flawless cover with extra bits of ear-candy thrown-in. Fab. Good luck, gentlemen.
Can't believe I've never even heard of this band until I saw them open for Devin Townsend a couple of days ago. What a great show they put on. They earned a new fan!
they are one of the best bands ive ever seen. Seen them with rivers of nihil and mike was sick do it was a instrumental only show plus harsh vocals..only show theyve ever done without a vocalist and they killed it.
@@matthewtaylor2784 I don't dislike the new stuff. I think its really good, but they really had a very unique style in Exoplanet and it made them special. Now, while they might technically be better, they became another (very good) djent band. Still fantastic, but not unique
brother turned me on today and as much as I typically don't like covers, y'all nailed this one. been on an hour binge of various stuff and like it alot.
No band plays like you. Technical skills and music above it all. Actually, one of the most inspiring acts around. I've benn thinking "how would Joey Baca do it?" all the time, while I was recording the album with my band, even if I'm not even close to his technique. It's all about music.
Being just a teenager when Smashing Pumpkins first brought out this song was such a good time, and brings back soo many good memories. Even though i will always go back to the original, this band KILLS IT! I always appreciate new bands who can pull off doing covers of the old great songs from my time. The new generations will be having a great time listening to this band. 👏👏👏
This was me and my buddies go to song when we would hang out in high school, smoke and just hang around town. Didn't expect this cover in 2020, but you guys really did an amazing job with this. Thank you
The band I used to be in covered/performed this song. It really brings back the memories of seeing all of those people with grins on their faces, singing along, and dancing.. just living in the moment. This wholesome nostalgia gives me hope despite that coming to an ugly halt and all of the pain associated with it. Great take on a great song! I like it better than the original actually! 🤘

Its amazing how much this band has changed since Exoplanet. Like, legit doesn't even sound like the same band. Not necessarily a bad thing, I really enjoy the new stuff. Just an observation
One of my favorite bands covering one of my favorite songs by another one of my favorite bands. Love this cover so much, I still listen to it regularly
Thank you all for watching and listening! Much love!
Michael Lessard see you in Orlando!
I will stan this band until I fade away
Did you do the videography on this? Real beauty of a video!
You're welcome homie, love all round
Not gonna say "come to Brazil" but I would love to see you guys live.
I love how much Joey is concentrated, he is not habituated to a 4/4 so he needs to focus.
every (good) drummer is habituated to 4/4 but I get your point
I watched that too Adrian. And to understand your point in not habituated to 4/4 I guess I will have to listen to their other songs too now.

can't tell if yall know by this comment but this is a cover.

You don't mind the apparent mild auto tune unnecessarily used?
Mr. Lessard really brought this band to a new level, y'all are amazing and you nailed this cover!

The mellowness of Cameron's guitar tones and Michael's pipes actually fits this song better than Billy's original did, if I'm being honest. In love.
