I remember having a 1 hour conversation with my 70 year old substitute teacher who is also into politics, we were talking about American funding of Ukraine, Japan’s population decline, etc, and when we were talking about Israel, he said how the Jews could’ve chosen so many better places to make a country than the area of their homeland because of how they will always have to fight a growing number of muslims for the rest of their history

I was a supporter of Israel. But for me the things go beyond acceptable with Rafah invasion. Israel should agree on ceasefire. But HAMAS should surrender. They have lost completely and they should admit it instead of using civilians as living shields.
Israel is sweeping through Gaza and razing the whole strip. Infrastructure destroyed and the people removed, they will have no choice but to go into the Sinai.
You think this is how you normalize relations and prevent extremist organizations like Hamas from gaining support?

Not to mention Israel is the only country in the world that will tell enemy citizens to evacuate an area before they invade it. I think I would prefer keeping Israel around tbh.

@@Respecteddude666 No, Israel inspects what goes in and out since 2005. The only thing the blockade prevents from going in is weapons. The rest - water, money, food, even people - is coming in and out all the time. Gazans went to work in Israel before the war. Israel gave 20% of Gaza's water for free and Hamas got the other 80% on their own from other countries.

The map is not correct in northern Gaza. The occupation failed to control it, and despite the bombing, siege and hunger, there are still 400,000 Palestinians there.
