Would this code be synonymous with the water in fuel sensor circuit 'A' malfunction as those are the only 2 codes i have. Car still runs spot on though.
I have a P0380 code on a 03 duramax I changed the plugs and module, still receiving the code all plugs test to .4ohms, could this issue be related to the IAH circuit?
Maybe useful for someone: I have had the same errorcode on my opel corsa d from 2014, Replace the glow plugs, replaced the glow plug time relay, both didn't help. Measured all cables going to the plugs, no issues at all. Then followed the cable which comes into the glow time relay. The thickest cable goes into the fuse box which is on top of the battery of the vehicle, and there it was. The connector was loose, just popped it back into place and away was the P0380 error.
Does a P0380 error code make your car consume more fuel than usual? I only as as I have the error code and my fuel (remaining till empty) was at 210 miles. I drive 30miles and my car says its done 100...... but no leaks underneath - wasn't sure if it was all related
Hello Steve, I have a ford focus 1.6 TDCI engine, my car is running in safety mode, no boost feeling, very very lazy in fourth, fifth gear, I found 2 error codes ( P0113) MAF sensor, that I chanded but problem not gone, second error code P0380..related to glow plug, do you think it's could be the problem? Should I start to test glow plugs ? Thanks.
I have 2011 Renault scenic 1.5. I get the spanner light come on the check injection system. I scan with a cheap obd reader and it error code P0380 comes up. I turn it off and it might not do it again for 7 months or so?
I have a 2006 1.9cdti zafira. Code came up last year. All glow plugs were changed by the garage. Same code comes up again now....could it be the relay? Would there be anything else causing this code?
My code is intermittent, sometimes only coming on for a spliut second, sometimes around 10 seconds. Ive ahd the plugs replaced and the mechanic says he checked evrything else (I assume the control module) he suggests i take it to an auto electrician as he suspects it could be the wiring. Could this be the fault?
Hi Rehman, Yes- it's possible. Defective glow plug or relay is one factor triggering this code. We recommend having your vehicle checked by a technician.

Hello, as you are getting more than one error code, we suggest getting your vehicle visually checked by your local mechanic for further diagnosis.

Hi Jay, possibly- Yes. The issue could be coming from a damaged wiring. Please have them fixed to see if the issue will still persist.
