fab video
Nice!
We just don't get them here in the North East (Garfish) must be to cold for them
Nice vid, whats the regs now for landing shore caught bass and measuring, is it v of tail or to the longest point 42cms
Paul I always assumed it was to the longest point?
Nice. How'd you find the panic prey vs the Patchinko? What size panic prey were you using?
The panic prey is good for choppier conditions I find. I’m not as much of a fan of it when it’s calmer. Overall I prefer the patchinko, it has a much better action and just feels nicer to fish with. I think the panic prey is roughly 140mm? They’ve changed them from the original ones they made so I’m not too sure.
You mentioned Wrasse, never heard of them taking a surface lure before, do you get them often?
IOM Fishing I was using the IMA Sasuke shallow diver at the time of saying that. I’ve never heard of wrasse being caught on a surface lure either😂
@@FISHINGWITHCAL Ah makes sense now. I was thinking I've seen them take all sorts from live sandeels to a Mackerel flapper on a 18 ounce pirk but never anything off the surface :)
Caught bass on subsurface hard lure, soft plastics and spinners but never on surface lure .
