Hi Guys! I hope you like these films. i think they look fab but i readily admit that they are light on provocative intelligent comment. So tell me, who would you like me to interview and where do they live?? I'm ready!
Hi Hugh, I was wondering if you ever have heard or read the work of Mark Blyth, fellow former working class Scot who made it out of Dundee to become a political economist at Brown university. He is able to look at economics and politics in an unconventional but very clear manner. I would love to hear a conversation by you two think you both would benefit from bouncing off each other , if you could somehow arrange this it would make my year.
Hows this for mixed tapes?... In the 80s True Adventures of the Rolling Stones author Stanley Booth mailed a young writer friend of mine a mixed tape, it was simply labeled Country Negro Blues, no artist names or track listing were included. The music on that tape is a heavy mojo, sonic voodoo holy grail of sorts, it contained field recordings of old rascals playing deep blues in the pale moonshine.. . I always wondered if Stanley gave Keith Richards a copy... one key track...the Dirty Dozens by Will Shade...is for view on youtube..that song will well and truly blow your mind and make you laugh off your narrow ass...the track called Dirty Dozens by Will Shade got a hugh hendry playlist/mixed tape going on my channel..lol..keep it coming hugh
What career advice do you have for someone who: - graduated in economics from a target university - values a great work-life balance - seeks to manage own fund and/or business in the long-term (not endowed with the required capital) - secured a rotational finance graduate program in a f500 (m&a, trading, controlling, etc.) - Proceed with the f500 finance graduate program? Stay in an f500 or switch to IB? - get a CFA/ CAIA? - What roles allow to generate the required capital the fastest, while still maintaining a work load below 60h/week? -- IB? -- hedge fund? -- asset management? -- energy/ commodities trading? I know this is pretty random, but I just try my luck :-) any oponion is appreciated.

Videos beautifully done..informative yet trippy vibe. In the future can you interview Jim Rogers if its possible..
@@racingper hmmm...
I reckon you'd have a lot of fun on Kyle Bass's ranch in Texas. You wouldn't even have to talk about finance.
Louis Bacon, Vince Staples or Lana Del Rey (LA) or, closer to Paris, a rapper like Damso
Frank Ocean
Hugh I feel like you have a bunch of great unpublished books inside you...Any plans?...

Hello, Does anyone know the name of the song, and artist, of the drum solo that is in much of this short film? Thank you.
I love this series - so interesting and artfully done!
do you have a book list hugh?
what a first record , star trekking
Can you interview a writer ? Based on your interviews, you're a gifted storyteller. I think you should write stories now.
You remind me of Rich Roll, like you’re his Scottish brother.
