- Time to put some new rubber on this trike! www.atvtirescanada.com sent me a new front tire and rear kenda bearclaws to give me some traction, and I swapped the front wheel bearings as well as installed some 200e fender on it - all in time for my trip to the camp!
here is a youtuber who doesnt waffle on, gets to the point and keeps the video interesting. im impressed, new sub here. look forward to watching more

A trick I learned for seating beads on my big 36" jeep tires was to take the chuck off the end of the air hose. Then take the valve core out. Push the chuck onto the valve stem, like you were trying to plug the air hose into the tire like it was an attachment.
You get a TON of air, way faster than through a valve with a valve core in it.
Also, if you bang the sidewalls with a good shop hammer, that will help the beads to seat and it jumps you a lot less! hehe They always jump me too when the beads seat.
It works pretty dang well. If not, I do the same - go to the ether and a lighter... but that's always the last resort.

I enjoy watching your videos, they are informative and to the point. I recently was given a 1985 Big Red atc250es that I rode at my uncles when I was a kid. It needs some love. It already has a plastic tank and Ive come to terms with that, but I was wondering where the best sites are to find parts at a decent price. I looked at a fender yesterday that wasn't even painted and they wanted $395!!!! There has to be some aftermarket site that works good for these old beasts. What do you think?

Those aren't stock rears. Stock is 25x12-9 Ohtsu Pro/Am
Curious how to get axel out. I loosened 4 bolts on fork. Applied wd40 to threads on axle shaft. It's not budging with a 4ft snipe. Assuming it's a normal thread. How can I get it off without breaking something?

With some slight modifications a rear fender off most lawn tractors will work in place of the OEM fenders. Just mount them to the rack instead of the frame.
What's the bike in the background? A 3 wheeler converted to 2 wheel motorcycle? Brings back 1980's memories.
hey! great stuff! I'm curious what the front tire you went with was, having a hard time sourcing a front for my 200e. Got a 25X12x9 carlisle turf buster that's all cracked.

haha yeah ive done thousands of tire installs, the tires popping still get me every time lol.
You forgot to use up the rest of the old tires by doing awesome burnouts!

hahah crazy i just did this to my 87 big red last nite. one thing i always do is pop out one of the seals on the bearing itself and add marine grade grease into it. it really does help

Hi, after the last Bearing, and seal at Time 7:30 on the Video. Is There a Metal Washer that Covers the Black Seal? There is a Little Clip attached to the Outside that’s Bent over after Install. Was there a Metal Washer over the Seal? Thanks for any info or response. I appreciate the help. Great Video

Well done! That trike isnt going to know what to do with all that traction! You might be able to find an aftermarket exhaust, that would be cool.

ive got a 1985 Honda 200 es atc I put a new cam in it and when I put it all back together I have no compression at all now what could be wrong. thanks for the help

On my big red the tire moves back and forth slightly when I put it back on and rubs am I missing a part or something any idea why it would be doing that ?

those balloon knobby tires are thin and puncture easy don't like them plus the bear claws are mean looking and fit nicely even on the front
please sir I need help my 84 200 m gets so hot after 3-4 minutes of driving I don't know what it is I would ask my dad but I don't have one in my life and my mom is barley around I worked so hard to buy this and an 85 with my own money and I found your youtube you are do smart with everything please help I have sll the tools as well just can't figure out what it is please give me some ideas
how do you mean it gets hot? does it seize? is it hot on your leg? if it is hot on your leg does it have the exhaust pipe shroud? is oil flowing? Maybe clean your oil filter.
PowerModz it's right by the engine where exhaust starts some oil looks like it comes out the top of the engine and exhaust gets really hot I can only ride a few minutes before I have to turn it off and won't start until it's cooled off
I'll right down your suggestions with oil filter it does have the black thing by my leg the shroud I didn't know what it was called
sounds like it is running too lean - clean your carb and you might want to set your valves as well - all of it is easy. what does your plug look like? you might have a leaking exhaust donut as well - right where the exhaust bolts to the motor - if that is leaking it'll run hot
