    do videos show up in the photos part too?? or where do you download videos??

      Yes, Canon Camera Connect can download videos onto your mobile device in addition to still images. All videos and images should appear on the same selection screen. Hope this helps!

    does this only work if you have IOS lower than 8? I currently have IOS 13 and the camera hasn’t been able to connect to the app no matter what i do.

    Is it possible to use this camera as a webcam? Specifically on a mac?

      Hi Todd:
      Your camera has an HDMI port that can send out a video signal. Canon does not have a streaming application for using this signal as a webcam. A number of third party companies provide software and video capture cards that will allow you to use the video signal from the HDMI port of the camera. An internet search will provide you with a number of these third party options.

    It says to set viewability settings to all? What does that mean?

    It doesn’t work for me. Whenever I select the network for my camera is says “no internet connection” and it doesn’t allow me to hit images on camera.

      Have you guys tried resetting the WiFi settings? I had the same problem but once I rested the WiFi setting it worked great

      Maya's Mischief I turned on the camera, pressed menu, then using the directional pad I clicked to the right to access the widget that has tools on it, then using the pad I clicked all the way down until I see WiFi Settings, I clicked it then clicked all the way down once again till I see “reset settings”, I then clicked okay.

      Hi! This video is specific to the PowerShot SX530 HS which features a button with a smartphone icon as shown as 1:24. If the buttons on your camera are different in any way, you most likely have a different camera model. We would recommend checking that camera's instruction manual for information on whether it's designed to communicate with a mobile device and how to connect it to one.

    This camera can’t let you download your videos it keeps saying video format not supported . It’s so frustrating 😕

      Hi! Due to the file size for videos being so much larger than the file size for still pictures, there may be limits to what can be transferred. For best results, we recommend downloading your videos to a desktop or laptop computer.
