Great video, Matt & Alli! We were there (staying near by) the night of the inauguration. Lots of lights in the sky highlighting the event. Can’t wait to see it when we return in February!
Thanks for a great video. We've coming down there for the last 10 years and never made it to the Parthenon. Will be top of the list on our next trip in March. Is the Museum on the Malecon open? They were working on it last year.
the last time I was inside the house his friends were removing 5 peso gold coins from the pool ceramics and stripping out the US made refrigerators the escape hatch onto the beach where a gate would open as a boat on tracks would run down the tunnel and into the ocean. He had a car collection underground with a robin egg blue 1921 Bugatti Type 13 and I can remember him driving that car around and handing out US cash to the town's children. I shot pictures for Newsweek of the house and sold them as it was a big story, his security let me in as it was sad and crazy in the days after his arrest. I stayed during the winter season there from 1978 through 1986 at the Hotel Irma room 29. Helped Rueben and his wife Chela build the first Ruebens world-famous hamburgers since 1984
I'm so glad the property was restored!

That's so cool. They're really doing a great job improving the city. Thanks for capturing this.
Thanks Matt, we'll check it out in January when we're in Zihua! Looks great!
Wonderful addition. Can't wait to get back and see it. Great video.
Wow! So different! Can't wait to go! And I want that sandwich 😁
Thanks, Matt and Ali. Nice video. So it's been owned by the city all these years?
@@TomandJulieMineExploring since 2000 I believe.
Glad to see they reclaimed that place. Random question but where is the best place to watch a Seahawks game?

We keep missing you! We were just at Partenon on Wednesday and at the airport on the Saturday before…. Are you following us? 😂😂😂
Yes 😉
I remember going there in 2020, it was kind of creepy.

Thanks! It seems like the museum could open any day, but haven't seen a specific re-opening date announcement.
