I’ve had 5% on my 1994 Chevy since I’ve owned since 2008. Never have had a problem with the laws or passing inspection. Maybe different counties are more strict than others. Super nice truck!!

I have the same truck as you and love your videos! I just added remote start on mine today from Amazon for a hundred bucks and it took only 10 minutes to install and I love it! I haven’t noticed if your truck had it or not so I figured I’d pass it to you

I totally agree with this statement because I run 5% on the front two and 15% over the factory rear three and 30% on the windshield
Good video bro keep doing you. The ceramic content of the tint is what causes it to keep the heat out. also when you go ceramic you get a more of a grey black color vs the purple you were experiencing. fI have 10% ceramic on all windows then 35% ceramic on windshield. It is a little hard to see at night, but you got to pay to play lol
Exactly bro! And you are right it does give like a black gray look but definitely a little harder to see at nighttime for sure
I Loved my 5% and was ready for another layer of 20% over the 5% on my Chrysler 300 getting my F150 tinted while I’m in East Tennessee

always remember if you wave at someone and they just stare at you - it is because they cannot see you waving - so you have to lower the window to wave.
I went with ceramic tint legal on my ram …murder out the rear windows ceramic tin is the way to go ! Keeps truck so cool in this brutal Texas hell !!!

FIRST 2 YRS I DIDNT SEEM TO NOTICE TILL I SEEN THE DRIVER SIDE UP FRONT HAVE A BIG BUBBLE. FRON THE HEAT... OMCE I WENT IN AND ADDED CERAMIC TINT.. no more bubbles ever appeared.. saved me tons of money from the leather to refix. In a old truck a 2003 dodge ram got cooked... Plastic all shattered and in pieces... If I knew about ceramic and the benefits trust me I would of tmout the best tint for hest reduction and to save your cars interior.. so don't ever debate on "wasting money" trust me it's worth every penny..

Yea january 1st no more state inspections except for smog so now its time for my self to purchase my 2500 and tint and lift

We took all the 5% tint off the boy's car as a Christmas present. It sucked for vision. Still had the UV shade.

I have to get that. Sometimes I get in my truck and burn my hand on the steering wheel. It's hard to believe the steering wheel can get that hot.

January of 2025 is when the Texas vehicle inspections go away. So excited for that lol. Unless you are in the big 17 counties so basically the rural people don't have to worry about it, which is dumb

That's only for emissions. No more safety inspection (tint) statewide. At least that's how I read it
You get used to it quickly. 5% doesn’t feel dark to me anymore.

@@KickinItWithQ I have had this crazy set up... Only if you want the look and drive during the daytime... 5% rear and back. 20 windshield. 20 up front. And go over it 35% over every window again. Not including the windshield... ... If you want a safer route. 5 back and rear. 20 up front. 35 windshield. And go over it in 35 back rear and front.. not the windshield... Which is what I have and it's perfect.. don't overthink it about going dark the way you like... I've seen comments say 5% the entire thing with 20% windshield and go over it with 5% again.. and to me that's just dumb.. that's to dark.. nice as well in the daytime can look out and not worry about people looking in or looking at you staring... But I wouldn't ever recommend going 20 at all even in ceramic. It doesn't appear dark if you add it to the windshield and look out during the day.. but at night it's a nightmare. I have glasses to see.. and I have to legit look up close in the windshield.😂

Sounds like rubbing to me. Best thing to do is have someone turn the wheel while you watch to see if it’s rubbing on anything.

Getting a new f150 in 2 weeks. Ive been driving in my current vehicle with 15% front windows and 5% rear with 0 issues. The truck im gonna do the dame but also wanna do the windshield. Im really torn between 35% and 50%. Knowing me ill likely wish i went darker after i have it for a bit. Any words of wisdom?
Also, ive had front/rear 5% windows in older cars and as much as i loved it i hated having to put my windows down to make certain turns on dark roads haha.
35% the way but it definitely dark at night! 50% the safe way

I don’t know why I forgot to fill my nighttime portion. I like to do another video, but to answer your question is definitely harder to see curbs.
