Do you mean Michael Bay? It would only be Christopher Nolan if it was taking place inside a black hole that looks like a bookcase, the pilots spoke with raspy voices and the whole thing was going backwards, 'cos you know, that makes a film seem intelligent.

You buggers!!!! Ok now how long do we have to wait? Amazing story by the way. Only issue I had was on occasion when Jester or Wizard spoke over some of the story dialogue. Certainly felt as unique and different a campaign as the F14 does to fly. Amazing job thank you.
I bought the module after watching this vid. I hope more campaigns will come out for the F-14 in the near future

Super Carrier isn't tied to any map.
I saw a game play video of Mission #2, it was on Super Carrier. It would be a shame for the guy who bought Super Carrier to not use it.
Maybe they also did a version without it ?
Have given the first mission a try and I'm already invested, feels immersive so looking forward to what it has to offer. Great job and worth the wait. That Stennis feels small after playing with the Washington mind 😁

Then follow the installation instructions. The new campaign will be under „my campaigns“ instead of „F-14“ in DCS so it is a separate campaign and won‘t change the original one.

Curious would these missions work if loaded into mp & could have player rio?
I will add COOP missions to the next patch, if you do not want to wait, you can in the meantime just edit the mission and change the player aircraft to "client" and then host it in MP.

@heatblur Could you guys just revert your F-14B back to the way it was in mid-late 2019 in regards to flight model and damage model?
you guys should tutorial videos for your aircrafts like Eagle dynamics do, simple and to the point. there are many other tutorials by other people but they are long and not always as helpful

I always wonder how these guys get all the switches, and find out what they all do in DCS. I wasn’t able to find anything on the F14 radars on how they work.
Probably declassified technician manuals, theres already one for the F-16, Apache, and probably other planes

You should be able to remove the pylons in the belly section, yes. Just right click it in the rearm refuel menu and you'll see it around there.

@@BerkBerkinson You can do it with any campaign or mission. You open it in the mission editor and duplicate the Player plane that way it keeps all the waypoints and stuff. Then set up a multiplayer server for you and your friend(s) and rip it
btw im not 100 percent that it'll work with this campaign but it almost always does with others fromwhat i've heard

Yep, it's called NavGrid. The Navigation Command and Control Grid or NAV GRID was designed to enable easy navigation and CAP control from a common fixed reference point. It enables TID readout of bearing and range from that set reference point.

I would assume not, as the F14D has a key document is classified that has the radar stuff so
with these new updates you are killing the tomcat ... some are making it more realstic and some don't ... please fix the model carefully ... and i hope you are not limiting the tomcat because of dcs and tomcat being a powerfull fighter in it ... you made the best sim tomcat of all time ... make sure you keep it that way :D
@heatblur I've spent the last ~2+ years in mourning because the F14B is so wretched STR/ITR/TWR/lift-wise in BFM. Also the fragile flap damage model neutered it below 300kts. When you guys frailized/fragilized the F14B flaps and it went from being so awesome at BFM to being so wretched at BFM, part of me died.

destroys the balance of the mutliplay game....in real life it was developed against interception by bombers, and has not that good maneuverability, but in the game it does. why? so that you sell them more?
It is time for a serious discussion about playing in mutliplayer, for example buddyspike only play F-14 in the opposing team .... and we have JF17, F16, flankers to counter?
the F-14 cannot be countered with anything. why are there not comparable long range misilies for the russian units?
if there are no comparable long range missiles for russian units, this misile should be completely removed, or nerf!!!!!!!
Boring campaign, long transfer times and riddled with bugs. Mission 7 was the absolute low, with the dot hunting required to track the Hind flying low level and no aid from AWACS and ground units.
Operation Reforger? Operation Return of Forces to Germany? That must be the stupidest name for a campaign, regarding that REFORGER was an big annual exercise held during the Cold War, with names like Carbid Ice, Certain Rampart and so on. So you basically took a name that stood for an concept, and not an Operation, used it for a game where there isnt even any German map.
And yet, you still aren't a cartoon dog solving mysteries with the gang.
The backstory for the campaign plays in East Germany and reflects what Reforger stood for :-) If you want to read the story, you can check it out here (note that we renamed Yanayev to Ganyayev in the release). The name "Reforger - The Iron Heel" is chosen with purpose.

You do realize that the folks working on missions and the guys working on aircraft systems are probably not the same people, right?
Not sure if you missed them, but we publish updates for the Tomcat every month...
