**Before you write comments about how I'm glorifying red or blue side's aircrafts** Please bear in mind, every single aircraft in this video is no way related or represents any side irl. A) Strangereal universe is NOT related to real life. Which means real life countries like U.S. and Russian do NOT exist. Instead we got Osea, Erusea, yuktobania and etc(and those countries aren't related to real life countries). B) Erusean airforce operates every single aircraft known to man(they flies f22 and su57 at the same time) and in this mission, erusean flies harriers, eurofighters, su35s and mig31s and osean flies f15cs (I used f15e cuz f15cs are incapable of a2g operations) It's just tribute to fun airplane game and I have no intention of manifesting which side reign supreme. I'm just a fan of ACE COMBAT series and Flight simulator games and I'm trying to follow the mission details as precise as possible. So Please, PLEASE, do NOT relate the shoot down of red or blue side aircraft to irl counterparts. If this doesn't convince you, well... i guess it's not your kind of video.
I have no idea how anyone with a brain would be offended by that video lol. I am not a big fan of ACE COMBAT but goddamn this video is really really well made. Great job!
pretty sure cannocially Erusea uses a large amount of russian made aircraft, with a sprinkle of NATO aircraft mixed in. No need to defend your creative choices, its your video and a damn fine one at that.
Whoever picks up such attitude on the AC saga doesn't even deserve to be listened to IMO. The whole point of Ace Combat is the anti-war message within it.
I fucking love when Ace Combat fans make DCS cines because it brings the spectacle of the Ace Combat series into a proper flight sim. Realism with overdramatization. The voice-lines, music, lore, it all goes so HARD!!
Ah the F-15, one of the very few planes ever made with so much thrust to weight ratio advantage it can just go straight up and one of two platforms IRL to have an ASAT kill. Given how comedically versatile missiles are in Strangereal, it's not even implausible to me that they'd have an anti-satellite setting on mass produced missiles.
I remember playing this mission with my little brother, it was a real nightmare to kill th silo before the countdown and the only thing that kept us from giving up was the music so M13 has the best filler mission music and I think one of the best music of the opus
Fuckin eh mate, that ending shot of the F15 against the dark blue backdrop going straight up is so beautiful. Really nice homage to the ASAT program, I might use it for a wallpaper. I guess the one thing I wish you did would be at 2:05. If you lined up the fade to black with the black parts of the radar dish, it would've been a really nice transition. Oh what am I saying this is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!
I appreciate you enjoyed my lil project and also thanks for noticing asat thing and dark blue backdrop. I'm still learning the basics of cinematics and hopefully I'll get better on my camera works. Stay safe and fly high brother :))
I hope you enjoyed this video :) To be perfectly clear, I don't have any intention of talking down Russian aircrafts . (Tbh I'm a flanker guy and su35 looks fenomenal)
This is pretty damn sick! Great to see a DCS rendition of this mission. That last missile shot really harks back to that photo of that ASAT Eagle thingy. I wish we had targeting pods like this in AC7 so I didn't need to point my nose at the ground!
I'm flabbergasted. Not only did you completely capture the feel of Ace Combat 7, but the callbacks to Zero in the form of the squadron introduction and the absolutely stellar cinematography are mind-blowing. I'd love to see what you could do with First Contact/Two Pairs, the Battle of Farbanti, or Lost Kingdom. Sol Squadron would be a dream to see in action in your work. Liked and subbed and looking forward to more! Bravo!
Battle of farbanti(ac7) is definitely on the list. I really wanna recreate first contact and lost kingdom but there's technical issues to solve.(I don't wanna miss out the slightest details) After that, I'll work on those.
Wow, amazing. During the IRBM shootdown scene I thought "Man, it would be awesome if he recreated the F-15 ASAT photo" and you did! This is probably one of the best Ace Combat DCS cinematics ive seen, great job.
This had me grinning from ear to ear from start to finish. That consecutive cannon kill by Trigger on those two Flankers and show how he's always on top of the situation, the zoom climb to intercept the last ballistic missile, and Magic Spear blasting on top of everything. *Chef's kiss*
I took my time in coming to finally watch this - big mistake. This video feels like such an obvious hitting of your stride; Deer Horn is good, Glacial Skies was great, but this one is so polished I was shocked. Your pacing is stellar, your cinematography is so well chosen, and your video quality just looks so *good* - beautiful HD and FPS throughout. I can't get over how great your framing of each of your shots was, and there's multiple standout moments - the first merge into the shot of the 4 ship break of Trigger's squadron all splitting apart at once while firing missiles looks phenomenal, and it really shows off your grasp of cinematography and keeping pleasing-looking movement going on throughout every shot. As soon as the second half of the mission began, I was waiting for that famous shot of the F-15 vs. the satellite. You really didn't dissapoint - I was moved. Your control of the tension ratcheting up through each missile that got progressively higher, culminating in the final interception in low orbit, got me emotional! Again, your pacing is just awesome with this video. I wasn't expecting you to go this hard when I came in, even after I loved Glacial Skies - again, just a big mistake from me, clearly. I'm blown away by how hard you nailed this one and blew away every expectation I had, I felt like I was watching a top quality movie from start to finish. Thank you for this treat! I'll be clicking on your next video a whole lot faster, whatever it is. I've learned my lesson.
Oh wow I'm really glad you enjoyed my video. Ty for genuine compliment. Even though got a long way to go to make my video perfect, I will try to do my best. And come back whenever you want! We all got things on our hand. Hope you have a good day :))
So many amazing shots in this one, from the break off firing missiles at 2:30 to the entire sequence chasing the ICBMs with the references to the satellite destruction. Great job.
Awesome work dude, absolutely in love with the little reference to the ASAT launch at the end (if that was intentional), can't wait to see more stuff from you!
It was definitely intentional! Thanks for noticing reference to asat. This mission really reminded me of asat program when I first played this mission :)
This is amazing! Can’t wait to see more of Ace Combat translated into DCS as a fan of both haha. Also those F-15E models are beautiful. They’re so much better than the original F-15Cs from Flaming Cliffs.
Not gonna lie, I thought i had seen it all when it comes to DCS cinematics but this has blown me away. I shot up in my chair as soon as i heard magic spear 1 at 0:09 and couldnt wipe the smile from my face with the sattilite intercept reference at 5:56. I didn't get to appreciate M13's music until I saw this. Playing the mission by myself just made me feel locked in to finish it and the background noise at the time sort of drowned it out for me. But seeing it in a cinematic perspective such as this just shows a small example of how special this franchise is. And not to mention your cinematic genius of setting this entire thing up!
