The last tip - using the iPad with FCP - is brilliant. While I knew how to use it as a second monitor, it never occurred to me to use the iPad and Apple Pencil for Draw Mask. Definitely will make workflow easier. Thanks!
always wondered why FCPX didn't have a white balance dropper! now i'll no longer wonder!! thanks!!! I knew it had balance colour, but not the dropper too!!
Thank you for always sharing such great tips...you've helped me so much over the years. Question; I have a mid 2015 15" Macbook Pro and it's getting a bit slow, so I think I need a new computer...unless you have any tips to speed it up. Is the new Macbook Air fast enough to edit video on. My videos are fairly short, 1.5 to5 minutes (I may start doing some longer videos...up to 10-15 minutes, mostly green screen of me, some video b-roll from download services, music and some text. Thank you for your advice.
You might be correct with the background renderer but at least when working with 8k RAW still images (hundreds of those) background rendering helps very much. This with M1 Max 64Gb.
Hello Serge , great video as usual.... As a great specialist of FCPX could you tell me before to external media page , I could import from iTunes, Photos , Logic and Garage band and some SFX ... GarageBand and Logic hasve disappared or its a problem for me only ?
Are motion vfx easy to get into fcp? I’ve not had much luck loading other effects so that they are easily accessible (yes i’m a newbie). Great video thanks.

As far as side car goes - can I use a I pad air that is older??

Yo my man. Can you help me figure out how to 12 screens on Final Cut?

It’s very easy. You can try one of their free plug-ins to see just how easy they are to install
Yes, I have over a dozen motion vfx plugins and they install with almost no effort whatsoever. They are truly the best, bar none.
Hey Serge not sure if you’re aware but there’s a company called MotionVFX. Ever heard of it? 😅

Final Cut Pro sucks. Bad. I buy a Mac Studio and do one project and it fills the whole hard drive up for a 30-minute video. What kind of shit is that?
Damn this is just one big ad...
Great video and very helpful as well.
Thanks for the tutorials.
