I really enjoyed that video, last time i was at corris there was a portacabin in the station area, i assume that's come down and they're building a new station?
Thanks for your comment. Yes; you can see the site of the Portacabin as we arrive behind the blue diesel. The plan is to build a replica wooden overall roof building on that site; it sounds promising! Cheers, Dave
Luke Salton if your making a model of the line, I would highly recommend buying Train Simulator and getting the cirrus railway add-on, it's a very accurate representation of the line.
The Train simulator 2017 route is correct as far as what the Corris will be in the future. The society provided the actual plans for both the new station at Corris and the extension to Tan-y-coed. Since this video was made much towards these goals has been achieved but the railway is still raising the funds for these projects. The only inaccuracy in the route is the use of a headshunt at Corris station instead of the proposed traverser.
Well done guys. Particularly liked the railway in the landscape shots!
Thanks John; thought we'd try something different! Cheers, Dave
What a great national treasure. Wales is a train lover's paradise. Beautiful country.
Nice video - Liking the new carriage too! Superb work
Thanks for your kind comment! Cheers, Dave
Cracking video...Looks an interesting Railway....Liked loco No 7 very much....Good variety of other Loco's too. Cheers....Steve.-:)
Thanks Steve; photography was challenging; the railway is rather hemmed-in, but there's bags of charm there. Cheers, Dave
On the corris railway Who is the number 7 locomotive
