Beautiful video, especially with the shots of this replica of a steam locomotive that was built from my home country United States of America, which is Lynton & Barnstaple Railway No. 762 “Lyn”.
Thanks Zane - yep; she's a beauty! And the Lynton and Barnstaple is certainly a line to watch, as it has big plans for expansion. Lots to look forward to! Cheers, Dave.
I nearly came over and filmed here too on Saturday......But because i was working Yesterday on the WSR i decided i'd make a video there on Home Rails...Shame really as i so much wanted to be there to see this Loco...Could also have met up with You too....Best wishes.....Super video...Really enjoyed it...Best wishes....Steve.
It was a bit of a last-minute thing for me, with one thing and another, otherwise I'd have messaged you to see if you were around. One day I'll bash the WSR and you can show me some good spots :-) Cheers, Dave.
first time I've seen these L&B videos - they look great but could I request a commentary to introduce us first timers to the line - the track length in use at the date of the video, the next stages/phases, costs and how these are being funded. How people can get involved and perhaps volunteer with track clearance work etc?
Thanks for your comment Mike. You can get all the information that you need by Joining the L&B trust; you can find their details at www.lynton-rail.co.uk/Kind regards,Dave
