Born in WW2 I remember these in the 50's, sadly often in a very worn out condition. So pleased there is a band of enthusiasts for such a nice range of motorcycles who keep them going not just as museum pieces. Thanks for another nice video, looking forward to future ones.
Another marvellous interlude before bed its amazing where 58 mins goes and the sadness when it ends. Keep em comin Sir your a star. Regards Stuart Bell from farther North
hi JJ nice to see you back out there on the panther with us in toe lifted my day bless you, love the ride out with you and the club stay safe out there and thank you for time out there with you cheers
I admire the looks and the sound of your 500 panther. Beautifully narrated as usual, great scenery. Thanks for taking us on the ride .🇦🇺🦘PS I think that’s the most turns I e ever seen you miss, it must have been the shock of the panther not starting at the rally point 😁
Your panther sounds wonderful. Which prompts me to ask how you record the sound because it is always so clear? The cheap camera I use produces such atrocious sound that I turn the audio off and record sound on a mobile phone, carried in my jacket pocket. I'm assuming you use a much better camera than mine. Another very enjoyable video!
Nothing very special about my camera William. It's a GoPro Hero 3. I have modified the open back slightly to reduce wind noise. It has an additional watertight back but that is too effective a muffle. Thanks for your support of the channel.
Thanks. Always good to see regular viewers coming back to let us know we've not lost the plot! I bought my route roller here basil. www.vmccshop.net/route-roller-oxford-products
@@PantherOwnersClub1 Love the thumping sound track, as always. I too would love to know where you get your route maps, do you make them yourself, or is there software that finds the route for you?
@@vintageenthusiast9615 Routes are provided by the organising member. They can be in text, difficult to follow when bouncing over potholes on a rigid frame! The style used here is generally referred to as a 'tulip' route. If you search you will find the symbols available to download. Runs I have organised begin with a possible route planned on a map. This is then ridden, with notes made on the junction shapes and the relevant signs, for assembly into boxes on an A4 sheet.

Nice to see a vintage bike in sunny weather - mine are huddled in the garage out of the rain at the moment!
A delightful run though some beautiful village's, thanks for taking us alone for the ride.
