As far as I know, parametric is supposed to design with parameters and not models a design directly. In Blender, it can use geometry node to create it. Even a simple design can be called parametric if it's created with parameters. If it's an attempt to mimic a design that usually a final output of a parametric design, but created it with direct modelling, it can't be called parametric. It's should've been called fluid design. But, does playing around with modifier can be specify as parametric design?
Please make a tutorial on how to transfer these divided segments / wooden slices to flat piece of paper. Such as pepakura software. So that we can create a cardboard replica.
I want to learn it too! Although I'm pretty amateur on Blender, I think there must be a way to export each piece as a flat file... At least sort them symetrically so I can print the screen and refine in Illustrator 🤔
I have a problem with adding the camera.😟 The steps aren't clear. Once I draw the box for the camera. The plane which is the wood, disappears. Then everything glitches and changes position
I tried the 2.90 version a while ago and had some error with GPU viewport render , after that I somehow stuck with this version. will try to update soon.
@@architecturetopics thanks, good to know about that particular reason. I think it will be very important to share your feedback about this issues to Blender developers. Thanks again for all the tutorials!
If this course was helpful for you, please leave a like and subscribe 😊🙏
Thanks you.
Very well explained step-by-step with the right timing to follow. Thanks a lot!
I love your videos short, easy and very interesting thank you again
Love all the series! I can't wait for more, they're really helpful! New subscriber here

modifiers is counted as parametric because it contains "parameters", but in a more freely way

Is there any way to export dxf files for that wooden slabs
you are wonderful artist. it was very helpful. Thank you
Thank you very much
Fantastic tutorial! 👏👏🏆👏👏
Thank you So MUCH!
He didn’t delete the default cube, big respect 🫡
Well... i reccomend to apply Solidify before Array and Boolean. But sure it it a nice lesson, thank you! :-)
You are genius thank you
Awesome 🔥🔥
Sir u r great 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Nice tutorial, very useful!
Thanx the best idea is bollean
Thank you for the video! In Blender 2.93, the Array modifier does not work correctly. In version 2.83 everything works OK.
how did you solve that?
hi, can these parametric works be used in real works like in Rhino? Can I get CNC printouts?
Спасибо!)
There is a way to export a technical drawing fo that project?
coool awsome
Thanks.
On 2.92 version cant get the sam results...Dont know why
I found a solution. Do not use ctrl+a to transform the plane t
@@brianmj123 This worked for some reason but for version 2.93 note - use fast solver for the boolean.
@@brianmj123 oh also it seems that the table must be fully inside the plane array, so that no part looks out.
@@MikeMike-wc8on THANK YOU!!!
the boolean isnt cutting the cube properly man

Nice!!!!!!
Wow
Thanks for the tutorial! May I ask why is version 2.82 always used and not the latest update.
I tried the 2.90 version a while ago and had some error with GPU viewport render , after that I somehow stuck with this version. will try to update soon.

Have you ever considered uploading some of these creations as a map to VR Chat?
Not that familiar with the VR chat you mentioned.
RoboVoices are getting better....but, still not quite there, yet.
Excellent explanation but not easy for beginers.
try bro
its easy
You probably right , it might be hard for beginners , i will try to do some more simple furniture tutor later.
con todos mis respetos, pero si n funcion de desglosar una hoja de corte eso solo sirve pa catalogos y paginas web
Please just actually record audio, this is so painful to listen to
this is not parametric.
