1. This Is For the steam version of the game, I've never played or modded any other version of it 2. If NVSE is not popping up MAKE SURE you unzipped it and dragged EVERYTHING into the new vegas folder 3. You don't NEED vortex, other mod managers work just fine, its just personal preference and is mostly more beginner friendly, I have nothing against mod manager 2, vortex works just fine and thats all that really matters for a beginner modder. 4. A lot of people have asked about launching the game through the nvse launcher, I've always opened it through steam just fine and the mods work fine, If you can launch it through NVSE you can do either one.
Does the latest NVSE already come patched for 4GB? I watched another video on editing the nvse_config.ini and all the text was already entered correctly.

dude I love this, was having the game crash so much and I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to install these same mods from the creator's description... so out of frustration I youtubed how to install new vegas mods, saw a 30 minute video (likely with useless filler) or a 4 minute video. To my surprise you answered any and all questions I could have had so smoothly with the video. THANK YOU! P.S keep up the yes man bit lol

Idk why but after I did that it seems to be working. Even when I hit ` on the menu screen it showed up like he said.
