I’m so happy for you! We went through multiple miscarriages too, and it is so rough. Now that our family’s complete I can put in in perspective to say, “That’s what we had to go through to get our family” and it is so worth it, but terribly rough going all the same. Sending wishes for a strong and healthy little man and a safe pregnancy for Laura
Being a dad is the best of all I raised my two kids on my own an loved every minute of it an know I'm a grandpa it just keeps getting better take care Scotty an mom lol

Congratulations to you and your wife! We had a long wait as well, and after the length of time that you have to be merely active and hopeful, we were referred to a fertility clinic and then had to wait as we gradually climbed the waiting list until an appointment came through for the following year - and then discovered nature had beaten the clinic to it. We Phoned and cancelled after three months, to be sure, as it was no longer necessary. We now have four, which is quite enough.
I bet you can hardly wait for the little fella to be coming on trips with you and learning the right way to interact with nature.
It goes by in a flash and before you know it, they are leaving home, so treasure all those moments, and never miss out on chances to spend time with him (and who knows, maybe them?), even if it does mean cutting down on the videos for a few years. Just make sure that you leave a message for your followers if another format or provider becomes more attractive than UA-cam during your minimalist posting time, which is fast approaching.
Congratulations Scotty and Laura. Wonderful news about expecting a son, its a new amazing season of life, with ups and downs but children are a gift from above. You'll make an amazing Dad and husband.
When you're doing the plastic bag technique, you need to tie off a corner underneath to act as a reservoir for the water to funnel down into. I use an elastic band over the bottom corner, and usually get about 500ml of water after 3-4 hours of perspiration.
Congrats on the baby news mate! Me and the Mrs went through a similar thing and it can be tough, but you guys will be better parents because of what you’ve had to go through. Thanks for sharing your story!

Scotty there's plenty of water in the lake lol. Light a fire and evaporate some lake water and set up a solar still. Also moving around in the heat of the day you sweat out precious water....just saying. Collect dew of plants in the morning before the sun hits. I've had to do these things in country with no water and it works. Congrats to you and you're wife 👍🏾 Been a fan of your channel for years. Keep up the good work mate

Such beautiful news and the emotion you are feeling over it all, very evident. A beautiful thing. You'll make a great dad and what a fun life this kid is going to have!

(She was Chinese, sadly not with us anymore) It sure worked out that way for us and we weren't even trying, we just knew we wanted a bub. Guess we were just lucky in some respects. Sharing your passion with him is going to be so rewarding! Ps. The laundry tub makes a great bath tub to save your back!. Lol.

Congratulations! What a blessing to your life and what a blessed child you will have. Just saying… my parents took me on my first camping trip when I was 6 weeks old.
Mullet. Make some damper. Toast it well. Toss it in the water. Make a tiny fly with a tuft of white rabbit hair and a little piece of sponge.- the sponge will help it float . The fly will look like a small piece of toast. When the mullet start nibbling the toast (which should be floating) cast your little fly right next to it. Maybe one in 20 takes you will hook one :)

Good on you, Scotty. Wife and I went down the IVF route about 5-6 times and it's a tough road. Mental health is critically important in being able to support others, mate. Take care of yourself so you can all take care of each other. Speaking openly about our challenges is important to help others know its nothing to be ashamed about. Good on you, bud.

As someone currently going through issues (male factor) with conceiving, you have my heartfelt congratulations. I am sure you will be an excellent father. Damn I missed your videos, thought about write you, I got a little bit worried. Huge congratulations! Becoming a dad are the absolute best thing you ever will experience. It will totally change you and the way you think. My daughter drives me crazy and I want to go far far away, but minutes after, I can't stop loving her, haha. I actually got an depression or stress after she was born, it jump started my interest for fishing. Get out in nature really help and your videos really inspire, even your nature are totally different. I live in Denmark, the other side of the globe. You may heard about it, as our new Queen are from Tazmania. Anyway, I hope you will continue making videos, but I think everyone will understand you will get less time in the next couple of years.

Thanks for taking us along on your adventure. I must admit I was quite concerned about your lack of water there until you reached the spring at the rock ledge. It must have been like an oasis for you. That was an interesting little bit of information about the eucalyptus "tea" making the rocky spring water more tasty.
