I wish someone told this to me in my 11th standard. I was the only girl who used to score highest in mathematics. I used to teach mathematics to a boy. He actually scored zero in first assessment . He approached me to teach him mathematics , looking at his score i thought I should help . Later that boy proposed me. Slowly and gradually i was distracted from my studies. During boards my main focus should have been on my own studies but my main focus was on helping that person so that he could score well. I helped that boy so that he could atleast pass the boards. But today that person left me saying that I don't feel anything for you now. Moral : Starve your distractions and feed your focus :-)
Don't get me wrong but I think it's your fault cause you didn't focus on your studies..indeed helping is a good thing but you must be that capable that you won't lose your gains..... About 20 years ago, I had given this advice to my son and daughter. Today, both are doing well in life. After completing their studies, they found loving life partners and are well settled in life. I told my children that as you reach puberty, you may feel attracted to the opposite sex but please don't confuse it to be love; it's just physical attraction. You have to focus on your education and career. There is a time for everything. Not only teachers but parents too should guide their children.

When I was in 8th standard my maths teacher once told me to sit out of the class so I did. She come to me and blamed me that I'm watching guys on opposite apartment and I'm much intrested on them. I got insulted infront of 3 classes. It took me 3yrs to leave that school but that incident haunts me. ...... . . . . . . After 8yrs I met her on city bus and told her about my job and passion. I told her I was on trauma with her words so teaching young children how to overcome. She was numb.. . .

I just feel that its natural have these feelings for someone of opposite sex. In ancient ages there were no such restrictions. There was no pressure to be successful or to be someone.. ppl just went with there feelings.. and may be thats why there were no stress related disorders then. I just feel that its natural have these feelings for someone of opposite sex. In ancient ages there were no such restrictions. There was no pressure to be successful or to be someone.. ppl just went with there feelings.. and may be thats why there were no stress related disorders then.
