Looking at a rental in the South Fork neighborhood of Riverview while we decide where to buy. It seems okay but I'm not thrilled about the area, safety and good neighbors is important. We were hoping to stay in Sarasota or Manatee Counties but had to expand our search because inventory is so low. Wondering if we'll be happy there for a year or wishing we kept looking. I'd prefer to find a rental in WC if I have to go that far north. The hunt for a nice annual rental home around 3500 sq ft with a pool is brutal!
Rental homes with those specs are definitely hard to find! Inventory has currently dipped a bit but I expect it to increase within the next 2-4 weeks. Feel free to reach out if you need anything, we're happy to help!
The more they keep turning Wesley Chapel into Fort Lauderdale the more I see the bad parts of brandon feel like its bleeding into Wesley. It seems like every night theres police helicopters circling overhead, thefts, car burglaries have increased and an apartment complex down the street from me had an active shooting. Just feels like post pandemic the dynamic has changed.

One has crappy new construction and 90% are HOA.
The other is 20 years older better construction but things are falling apart and 10% HOA.
