Hey Tony, I will be doing some different videos soon. and appreciate the map idea. I will also put together some "best neighborhood" videos too that will show what I feel are the best ones in each area and why. It's just hard to do much else when i'm by myself. Hoping Mrs. B will be able to help me out soon, and you hear her perspective too. Will be happy to help with your move from Houston. When you're in Tampa next i'll be happy to show you around. Reach out to me with any questions : 813-295-0144 / david@yourburgessteam.com
Hey, I didn't really use any data on this video. It was more general knowledge from working and visiting the area in general over the past few years. I've used data on other neighborhoods and communities from a variety of sources in other videos. Is there anything specific you are referring to that I can assist with?
Love The Ridge and GL Homes! That community entrance!! I'll add it to my list : ) or unless you're looking for something more specific in there I can do you a personalized video if you email me your criteria. Thank you.
We stayed there back in April and I loved the outdoor mall, the Shops at Winegrass I think. We stayed at the brand new Fairfield Inn...was a great hotel!
Hi david, i’m looking for a place to live In Florida, but i’m not sure. What About hurricanes and tornadoes? Is the area frequently hit by hurricanes and tornadoes?
Yo. I live in Tampa and have lived here for 17+ years. Here's my twopence, and other people might have a different experience. Hurricanes aren't quite as bad, I think, as tornadoes. Tornadoes, when they do pop up, tend to be a bit more threatening since they've been infrequent and harder to pin-point. The phrase "hurricane party" is one you'll come across quite often, as that's people sitting at home and partying for during weather that was "supposed" to be bad. Overall, I've never seen frequent devastation akin to what you'd find in Tornado Alley further to the west. The disasters that have happened tend to be anomalies--but with how the climate has changed in the world in general, it's something to keep an eye on. Thunderstorms, however, might be the more frequent kind of weather disturbance you'll come across. June-September is definitely when you should expect to see some of the worst weather during the year when it comes to hurricanes and tornadoes. It's generally pretty hot through the year, so be prepared for mosquitoes. Especially if you plan on living near water. We do have a "winter", and I think I can say it's usually around December to March. Sometimes it's hot, and sometimes it isn't. Expect the colder weather to bottom around..hm..20-30 degrees. You'll definitely want to invest in some winter clothes. As far as investing in a hurricane shelter..I can't properly advise you on that, but it's very useful to get some hurricane/tornado supplies because you never know what's going to happen. You'd have to find more about the specific area you want to live in.
Maybe a downside being if you are moving to Florida to be close to the beach (Florida's #1 feature/attraction), you're screwed if you move to Wesley Chapel!
Awesome video David! I am thinking I like the Northern areas a little better.... If visiting Epperson buy a ticket online, I drove up and they were at capacity, for tickets that they sell onsite they advised me to buy tickets online next time.
Thanks Eric. Forgot to mention that concerning Epperson. Thanks for reminding me. Wesley Chapel is a great area. Let me know how the apartment move works out. I'm headed to Spain on Wednesday for a week, but no doubt you'll see me uploading a few videos on here by the end of June/early July. Still working on involving Carolyn lol
Developers are ruining this once sleepy town. I’ve lived here 30 years . The traffic is a nightmare and people drive like a-holes. The wildlife is suffering as they lose the land. Water is used for million gallon swimming lagoons, draining the aquifer and our wells. Too much growth too quickly. There is a lot f low-income apartments going up and I worry about crime. We were going to retire here but not sure that will happen.
Wesley Chapel homes are overpriced just for the name and having the big mall near by. Same new construction build is $30k cheaper more south of Wesley Chapel.
Will do travel nurse assignment there need to find one bedroom
Still reccomend moving here?
Excellent. How about video tours of you driving along with a map view. I'm going to be relocating next year from Houston

where do you get your updated data from for each city and neighborhood

What about sinkholes?

Oh hey fellow Realtor!
The lady who pronounces Leicester right!! : )
Nice introduction to your city! Thanks for sharing!
Interesting! We'll have to check this place out. :)
is a beautiful place, my aunt lives there but i prefer west palm beach
Yes, 2 very different places. West Palm Beach is gorgeous I agree : )
i live there !!!
Not in Tampa, not even the same County. Doesn't stop the crime, crowds and traffic jams from coming here and screwing the area up
Another huge con of living there: The sinkholes. Pasco County is notoriously bad

Where are you referring to Jay?
