    Thanks for the video Jan. I'm curious of your VS Code setup. What theme are you using that has good element color coding for liquid files? And what other extensions are you using to support Shopify development?

    I’m having issues with the ruby version on my Mac. It seems I have 2.6 and 3.3 on my device, but the cli isn’t pulling my theme as a result

    • @CodingWithJan
      @CodingWithJan  2 місяці тому

      Got it. Maybe uninstall the 2.6 version (or both) and do a clean install of 3.3
      Otherwise, you might be able to change the path variables the terminal is referencing.

    I can't use shopify command in vscode but I am able to use in cmd/powershell, it says "script execution policy is disabled on your system". Windows 10, this is annoying bc I want to use the command in the vscode terminal, what I can do? I use nvm to switch over node versions, using node 18 LTS

      I had the same issues, chatGPT advised me to type "Set-ExecutionPolicy -Scope CurrentUser -ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned"
      This worked for me

      2 ideas:
      - Use Google Chrome as your default browser for the login step
      - make sure to use the original myshopify url of the store, not the current domain

      @@CodingWithJan worked when using the original myshopify url, thanks!
