    🔎 SEO Description
    Liquid is a server side template language created by Shopify, for building themes and page templates. It is the foundation of all Shopify themes, and it’s used to load dynamic content in the pages of online stores. Liquid objects in a file act as placeholders. When the code in your html/liquid files is compiled and sent to the users’ browser, all the variables get replaced by data from the Shopify store. This could include product templates, collections templates, article templates or other template files that work for multiple objects of the same kind. Hope you find this helpful to understand liquid programming and to get started. :-)

    Hi Jan. Can you help please? Do you have any idea how to edit the text "OR" on the check out page under the dynamic shopping button section? I want it to say.. OR ENTER YOUR CREDIT CARD DETAILS BELOW.

      Hey,
      You can edit the translation here:
      Online store > theme > actions > edit language
      Then you can search for the checkout translations
      IF you can't find it then you will need the Shopify plus, if you do you can go to the checkout.liquid file.
      Hope this helps :-)

    is there a way to incorporate this with jinja and something like FastAPI? I'm been looking for a method to make it easier to template hml, CSS and reactive from cpn libs like aplinejs, HTML, petite-vue etc but this seems easier and more straightforward. can it only be used for themes or can we use our own local dev stuff?

    • @CodingWithJan
      @CodingWithJan  2 роки тому

      I Emanuelle, self hosted is the safer option as you don’t have control over assets hosted on 3rd party servers. If they remove it one day your site breaks :-)
