It is, there are some cons but I’ve grown to it, learning curve was easy

You need the “Tower” and an Anchor Wizard, that clothes line reel is worthless.

I've never used a powerpole, may not ever since there so exspensive, i'm assuming there is force that forces that power pole down into the ground, does this hve enough down force to keep u locked into a spot?
it does actually, the poles come with a flat end but I am going to sharpen mine, when I get on an oyster bed in heavy current , It doesn't grab well , but my home built pole with sharp point held me steady. I will be sharpening it soon.
Do you think a yakattack Park n pole would fit? It’s slightly larger than the diameter of the pole provided. Looks like there is still some play between the hole and pole. 3/4 vs 7/8. Thanks!

Yo! I also drive a 2 door wrangler soft top and just pre ordered the vibe shearwater. What trailer do you have, that thing is sweet?! Just looking at options to haul my yak around.

Teej Stone I didn’t want to sacrifice my soft top so the trailer was my best option plus the cargo thing works awesome to store everything but rods
The Real Life right?! I wanted the soft top to throw down in the summer. I’m looking at maybe rigging up a cheap utility trailer or something. I just installed a hitch and wiring harness on my Jeep. My yak will be in sometime in April so I have time. Researching jet ski trailers now!
What are you using for the reel portion of this setup?
