What a Great lady .thank you may the Divine Creator Bless you much . I always wanted to learn hebrew . The world be much better palce if we quit fighting and fix this planet
I have a question-I notice that you are pronouncing the “r” sound sometimes as a raspy “gh” which sounds exactly like the Arabic letter “Ghain” (غ), but other times you are pronouncing it as a true “r” sound like in English. Which is the more proper/common pronunciation? How do you know which to use? Are they interchangeable in Hebrew? Any clarification on this would be much appreciated!! Thanks!
@@NasinOmr I think the answer is that it’s a regional and dialectical difference-but the more true & correct pronunciation is the one that sounds like the guttural غ. The hard “r” (ر) is usually associated with foreign/Arab speakers of Hebrew. So if you want to sound more native, try to master the other one. They call it a “trilled R” if you want to look it up online/UA-cam for more info and help. Peace/Salam (Shalom) :)

I'm learning so please correct me, during the 2's is it suppose to be U instead of Ve? I'm asking people who have more knowledge than me on this language? How would you pronounce 22 exactly? ve- or u-
I thought that 11 = Ahad esre, no Ehad esre... well... is it mistake when we say for eleven "Ahad esre" ? I just found Ahad Esre as 11 in the other lesson (not yours), which one is correct?
I don't mean to be rude, but you didn't add numbers for other males and females, the word is a little different for a male and female that make a huge difference in the word. I really don't mean to hate though, just some advice
In Hebrew numbers are represented by letters. For example 1 is א (the first letter), 2-ב (the second letter) and so on till 10 which is י. Tens are represented by following letters כ ל מ נ ס ע פ צ. Hundreds from 100 to 400 are represented by following letters ק ר ש ת. If you'd like to write down number 645 it would be תרמ"ה 400+200+40+5

I believe you are wrong. As far as I know in standard Hebrew it's actually אַחַת עֶשְׂרֵה ('akhát 'esré) for feminine and אַחַד עָשָׂר ('akhád 'asár) for masculine. In colloquial Hebrew it's either אַחַת עֶשְׂרֵה ('akhát 'esré) or אֶחָד עֶשְׂרֵה ('ekhád 'esré) regardless of gender. "'Ekhát 'esré" and "'ekhád 'asár" are both non-existent, I believe, as are the other three possible combinations.

Jay Bartgis Big similarity all in all but not exactly. If we German speaking people want to say 56, we say first the single number and then the tens ( "sechsundfünfzig" - translation "six and fifty"), so the other way round. It's not so efficient to be honest but that's how it is :)

it's Achat- esre, not echad- esre. אחת עשרה.... אחד עשר....
maybe you mean classic [ old] hebrew
masculine form achat . but i think is ok for echad for everyone .
@@gda295
No no. In modern Hebrew too. There is no such a number as echad esre. Or achat esre or achad asar.
"ve" means "and" in Turkish either
yep thats true. "ve" comes from arabic and... his sisters name is hebrew. semitic languages
I am also turkish btw, dont mind my account name lol
