Good videos Ray. I have watched 3 vids and your breakdown on each topic is clearly explained with good supporting images. Thanks.

Thank you for your very straightforward and informative videos. I''ve learned about so much already. I do have a question about stainless steel though. I just had a new stainless steel chase cover installed, but it's only been on for 5 days and I went to check on it and discovered little rusty pits all over the stainless steel. Quite a lot of rust marks infact. I thought stainless steel IS NOT suppose to rust! What's with the little rusty pit marks, low quality stainless steel?
Also, the cross-break lines have created a dip or scoop between the lines (it's a long rectangular with 4 chimneys lined up across), so it's actually pooling rain water in the triangulated scoop, and the whole thing is not level, which is creating the pooling even more. Should I ask the chimney contractor to come back and raise the center area with a tapered piece of wood or plywood, so that rain can properly shed off?
What about the stainless steel that's starting to rust? Hoping you'll respond and shed some light on my issues. Best regards.
