Not that I have much experience with model engines but I think it will run smoother once you get some proper spark plug wires on it. The lopey idle is probably at least partly due to those jumper wires crossfiring by laying on each other with that thin insulation that is only rated for low voltage. Not that it doesn't sound kinda cool like that, lol.
@@michaelkost238great job on that little engine. I don’t believe you have to worry too much about the plug wires…they’re fine. I think that if you had some sort of muffler on the engine to give it some back pressure, it’d run a bit smoother. Again….great job, excellent workmanship. Thank you for posting this video…Mac
Hi, the original castings are no longer available as far as i know. Coles power models sold them. maybe the plans are already awailable. But you can purchase a smaler chinese version. check ebay or aliexpress
I don't want to sound nasty, but I find it bizarre that someone would post something on You Tube . . . but couldn't be bothered to reshoot after the phone dropped, and without the slightest description about this "Holt 75".

Hey there robertwilliams….set the bar higher please. Build your own serviceable engine, get your picturesque photographic skills up to your obviously high standards, videotape the award winning results and post them to UA-cam so ALL of us can be humbled by your cinematic talents. You don’t sound ‘nasty’….you’re whiney.
@@macmac8249 He's gone to all the trouble you've mentioned, and he can't pick up his phone? I suppose he didn't notice, maybe he wanted to be totally truthful, but why not spend another 90 seconds on it?
@@robertwilliams7777 Just wondering if your started on your two minute and 29 second video yet? I'm looking forward to it. Took the words right from my fingertips @macmac8249 !

I'm surprised it runs at all with those electronics-grade wires.
This will be the next parts in scedule

Sounds like an old Pontiac V-8!
Your engine deserves much better headers: the inner 2 together and the outer 2 together, but all equal length - that will make it smoother, too. 😉👍
Maybe, but this is a scale model of a real tractor engine from the early 1900s. That engine had the headers laid out exactly the same way
@@corey_nz Ah, I see. 😉
Quién los vende estos pequeños modelos?
es autoconstruido
Love it, built by yourself?
@@pistonhead2k yes, got some Casting parts of the crankcase from a friend from italy. The other parts are from bare Stock material
