I’m probably the “sporty” pilgrim. No Camino push-ups, but I did walk a 54km for fun one day from León to Astorga. 8km per hour average pace 😎

I’m doing it right now and would say I’m a sporty type too. Unfortunately I pre booked all my accommodation thinking it was a clever thing to do, not realising that I have more daily capacity than I imagined!
Soo funny, can't stop laughing. I'm going for my first Camino 1st September and I think I am the enthusiast one 😂. Trying my backpack home, even sleeping in bag liner to try, ha ha ha. I am so excited, that I can't wait.

😂😂😂😂 I’ve been obsessed with Camino ever since I visited Santiago de Compostela. I came home and started watching every UA-cam video of people preparing for, packing for; crying before and after Camino. Daily diary videos. More crying. Existential experiences. Spiritual quests. Everything blisters….THIS VIDEO IS THE BEST. It reminded me to lighten up.
Sara! yep, there are many ways to express what is the Camino for us, and we decide to make it an easy to digest and motivational content- maybe because that is who we are! but don't be mislead, there will be quite a few heart breaking videos.. Camino ‘27! Yes! But for next year, my first time, I suspect that I will probably be a mixture of “Spiritual” and “Sporty,” even though right now I am purely “The Enthusiast.” A Pilgrim-In-Training. So, I know that I’m spiritual and sporty during this preparation, but I’m a believer in my heart.

Hi Ricky! Really enjoy your videos---great humor, great info, and great vibes. I'm a total enthusiast---a bit of a Pammy Planner. For me, there is joy in planning and, with age, I've gotten better at trying to let it all go as the actual trip approaches. I'm actually drawn to the Camino partly to open myself up, trust more, and take it all in as it comes. So...perhaps planning not to plan? 🤔 Keep up the great work.

Gear junky- true story! It goes away with few caminos… my friend lost his hiking super socks and did 700k in the black suite socks… ;)

Yes definitely the enthusiast type. In preparation for my second Camino (CP) in 288 days😁. Only road tested the new boots yesterday. And at the current rate will probably wear them out before I get there. There is a down side to the enthusiast type. Before my first Camino ( CF) I literally burned myself out from over researching it. (Im a I`s dotted. T`s crossed) kinda guy. Taking it a little slower this time🤣🤣.
