This is a very grey area and we understand you want the best price for your machine. But you also need to do your homework to make sure your machine is priced accordingly. Selling to sewer possibly means they will need to employ someone to do the work and understanding what is needed to get it working little alone original is very important.
If selling to a collector the chances they will have those parts or know where to get them but always remember it has possibly taken many many years of learning or research for them to obtain the information they have. So they also have worked hard to get where they are.
Understanding the true condition of your machine and realizing the location factor on price with a firm understanding of what it will cost to get your beloved machine back to working order and possibly back to original.
