Great to see the great Canadian glam band, Sweeney Todd / Nick Gilder get some love with the cover of their song Roxy Roller.
The Runaways and Joan Jett's solo career would not have existed without Suzi Quatro !!
Who else thinks that Suzi Quatro should be in the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame?
👍
Definitely!!! She's the Queen of Glam Rock
Of course she should!
Definitely👍
She sure does
Nick's voice. Lol. Still had that unique quality. What a smash hit.
OMG that wink from Suzi. 🥺❤️
Out of isolation comes great creativity! Add Suzi and Nick and my 🧦 are knocked off!
There will be handclaps if Suzi Quatro is involved, love it!
Real Music,Real Artists...Period.....Full Stop..:
An amazing version of a true rock and roll classic. Cherie is fabulous as ever. Great seeing Nick and Suzi again. Incredible band all around. Super-jealous of Phil's fantastic vintage kit. Mad props to Isaac. BRAVO!
That's the first thing I noticed
Always have loved this song. This is the best version ever.
*WOW!* That was SMASHING!!!!! Suzi and Cherie's voices mix so well, and with Nick, it's the perfect blend. It amazes me how great the sound quality, mixing, or production -- whatever it takes to get this together -- comes across. Much appreciated!
Deken, have a listen to a new song by Suzi called Betty Who, it's her and Cherie singing together, not too shabby
In Canada this is a cover band staple if you do classic rock. We're fortunate enough that Nick still tours and gigs regularly and I've been able to see him a couple of times in the last few years, I can only imagine how all these supremely talented artists are dealing with the frustration of covid. Suzi and Cheri.....be still my beating heart!
OMG throwing it back to Saturday nights when I would sneak out to the dance hall I wasn't allowed to be at, with the kids I wasn't supposed to hang with, listening to music my my parents definitely never approved of, with THIS being top of the list.
I was just adopted by the sweetest young Torti cat. She has a bobtail. She delivered four beautiful kittens. I’ve kept them all. I named this Torti “ROXY” because this song just kept coming to mind. To keep it it in a Rock-n-Roll spirit, I spell it Rocksy. This is her song 🎶 🐈😽😸.
This should have a million views!
this just shot out of a cannon and never let up! BOOM!
This is magic!
Absolutely!
Nick played one of my high school dances with " Sweeny Todd " back in the early seventies! Wow, Time flies!!
What a treat! Cherie's version is pretty damned fine by herself on the album, but this is extra icing to be sure.
Just watched it three times. Fills my heart with joy, I cannot tell you.
Makes ya want a re do on last 40 years
Good old rock and roll days
I always loved this song..................and of course, Nick Gilder! He has enough material for 3 or 4 "Greatest Hits" albums... Hey Nick! Come to the states next summer and tour! And make sure to hit Detroit.......... We miss you!
Nick baby, still lookin good! What a voice!💜
I've loved this version since it first came out and I'm still in love with it just classicness Cherie,Suzi and Nick just blend vocals together seamlessly 🤘🏾👊🏾🎶
I'm in LOVE with ALL of them! How cool... 😎🎸🎸🎸🥰
Holy crap. This was freaking amazing. Everyone sounded fantastic! I would pay to see these guys on tour.
I'm a little late in seeing this, but wow, what a treat for sure. Nice to see your son rocking away as well as everyone else. You and Suzi always sound great, but I haven't seen Nick Gilder in decades..he sounds exactly like he did which ain't easy especially for guys. Typically the voice changes drastically over the years. You three still sound 70's... good heavens .. kudos!
This was a number one song in Canada in 1975 that also charted in the top 10 of U.S. radio stations along the Canadian border. By the time a domestic U.S. single was released Nick Gilder had gone solo, the band had a brief replacement vocalist who left quickly and he was replaced by a 16-year-old Bryan Adams. The band was called Sweeney Todd and they released two albums of hard glam rock on London Records: the debut with Nick and the follow-up with Bryan Adams. They're both great!
Not only does Cherie sound absolutely amazing, she look damn fine.
Suzi and Cherie I love you both , you are wonderful. Suzi keep rocking. Bravo girls. Greetings from Poland.
Nick brings it all together live him and others were awesome to 💜✌️
Great stuff!! Love the wink from Suzi! Everyone having a blast!
Yeah, that wink does something for me.
Suzi Quatro is da bomb!!
Second that
great to see the legends out to make music... one of my fave songs as a young teen, sounded so different. it had that???... something other tracks didn't have... the 70's were awesome.
Well, this just gave me the punch I needed!!
That reaction at the end from suzi says it all the yesss and the sideways look from cherie it's like how did it sound? Totally nailed it!
This is absolutely fantastic. 🤯 All of these legends together… 💕
This is fucking perfection!!! Damn..
Only thing missing was Bryan Adams. As for Nick, you really rock me!
Suzi Quatro's new album, made with son Richard Tuckey is out next week, March 26, 2021. " The Devil in Me" has many guest musicians (hint, hint). I love this performance, and cosign all comments in favor! They made an intra-Atlantic musical zoom look easy!
well well This was a treat ! Iconic song with plenty of talent performing this Classic song a Gigantic Thanks to all Rock On !
loved it, came for Cherie, also got Suzi, & what a great surprise to see Nick again! I only listened to entire City Nights LP for the first time about a year ago, what a sound he got on that record. Can't fathom why Here Comes The Night wasn't a massive hit.
Top 20 in Canada. The whole album is killer glammy power pop.
This is what Willis was talking about. 😀😀😀😀👍👍👍👍🍕🌮🍟🎸🥁🦄🐒
Great Comment!
FANTASTIC!
Leather Tuskadero ! AKA Susie Quatro... Loved The Old Happy Days re-runs with Susie... Good Fun Rocker !!!
good to see you guys all well and rocking out!
this was very cool. awesome seeing everyone
Omg all these wonderful artists. Nick gilder still can go up into the higher register. And the girls voices are still really great as well .
I do. She is awesome. Best progressive bassist of the early 70s and a woman, what is not famous and legendary about that?
OH HELL YEAH this was wild 🤘🎶🎸
Love it, excellent!! My favorites. Happy birthday Suzi! More, more, more!
Bravo, Cherie! "Blvds of Splendor" is a great record. And this quarantine video is a treat.

sounding amazing everyone, well done, thanks for sharing!
Damn such a cool and lovely video 🤘👍And I love the fact Jake wears "The Runaways" shirt and Cherie wears "Jake Hays" shirt 😄
Great version. Wow, I love Nick's music. I wish there was a comprehensive reissue of all of his first 5 albums remastered. I have the City Nights/frequency set which is great. I think perhaps due to multiple labels representing his output makes it tough. Wonderful version and Nick and Company sounds superb here.
WOOOOT! Fantastic!! And so excited to learn that Nick lives in Vancouver!!
Last I heard, he actually lives in Coquitlam, however, who the hell would know where that is unless you were from Vancouver LOL
awesome......
FKN AWESOME!!🤘🤘🤘🤘

Awesome!!!❤❤❤❤
💕
This is so good, it doesn't even feel like a quarantine video!! I mean, this feels like an actual music video! I have seen other music videos made during quarantine, but none that has impressed me like this one! Wow, wow, wow! Good stuff!
Thank you! That was my main goal ;)
@@ivcstudios9522 - You did superbly! Honestly, it blew me away.
True, I'm impressed too, but it helps to use good quality equipment. Even if it's generic, it has to be a good generic.
Great song.
❤️
