Ren doesnt have a production company behind him. He shot this vid for $1000. He usually does his vids in 1 take live. Hes currently in canada going through treatment for the next 6 months. But he has music already in the works to come out over that time period. Hes been a busker. Plays/played in a band. He was misdiagnosed with lyme disease and it took its toll on his body and brain. This young man is a true artistic genius in every way. Thank you for playing his music. Jenny and screech is a must! Its a trilogy. You can find the whole vid on his channel.
No the treated him for a bunch of stuff over the years but found out he has Lyme Disease which is has done extensive damage going so long untreated. But he does have Lyme Disease

You know something is good when your initial reaction is "oh god its 9 minutes" then you're so drawn in and captivated that you don't even realize the 9 minutes have already gone by and you're left wanting more. Also i see a lot of reacts videos where they scoff at the initial "whoo hooo hooo hooo" some even ask if they're being joked. Then after he's taken them through this powerful emotional journey and rises in the end singing his glorious song of victory "whoo hoo hooo hoo" they are practically in tears cheering him on. Such a great masterpiece.

I don't think a single song has ever had such a deep effect on me. It's like it grabs you and just shakes you to attention. I first heard of him with this song a few weeks ago and I've bladdered his back catalogue. Lifelong fan now, for a fact. I like watching reaction videos anyway but this is so fun and moving to watch people's shock and emotion as the performance progresses. This reaction was one of my favourites. The Tale Of Jenny and Screech(full version) is another masterpiece that's like watching a Dickens rap musical. But his Retakes are well worth a watch to see another fun, lighter side to him. Man's a G(enius)

Great reaction and fantastic enthusiasm. I have watched Ren busking many times over the last seven years in Brighton (UK) and one of the great things that has come out of his talent finally being recognised globally is how he is helping to break down the barriers of mental health stigma and this is encouraging others to share their own issues. Please watch more of Ren to appreciate his versatility. I suggest Chalk Outlines (live) to hear his beautiful singing voice. Enjoy the Ren journey!

Ren is a musical genius and his guitar playin, singing and storytelling is phenomenal, however Ren also beat boxers and raps as fast as eminem. The hunger shows that. If you want his vocals chalk outlines or street performances. Then there's the hidden gems like depression and insomnia and humble. It's an amazing rabbit hole and perfects any genre.

This man is a flipping musical genius!! First saw this video last week and at first was like wtf am I watching and within minutes I was sucked in so deep into this man’s soul that I was hooked and craving for more.
I’ve watched this video over and over and it never gets less painfully beautiful as it was the first time.
This is art, it’s poetry, a psychological mind f$@k, a theatrical tragedy and musical mastery in subjects that few artists dare to go near with such openly painful honesty.
Highly recommend following his UA-cam channel. He truly seems like an amazing soul who is going through some serious health challenges and deserves whatever support he can get from his followers to help him continue to share his amazing talent.

Ren truly is a voice for those with chronic medical and mental health issues. It's been a topic that doesn't really get talked about enough. These illnesses can isolate people from society, but don't get much funding for research because they're not glamorous enough. I have fibromyalgia, and people (even some doctors) didn't even believe that was a real thing until within the last 5 years. And these are things that Ren talks about in his music.
ABSOLUTELY ABOUT FRIGGIN TIME, trifecta... Grassyass for showing him love/reacting. Next should be his Trilogy, The Hunger, Chalk Outlines.

I got hooked on Ren's music due to this song appearing in my suggested list about 2 weeks ago. This track blew away as did so much of his other works. But one think just came to me as Ren talks at the end about his struggle. He says, "...the more intensely the light shone the darker the shadow it casts". Oddly, it reminded of Snoke talking to Kylo Ren about Rey. He basically says, referring to the Force, as Kylo Ren became stronger on the Dark Side, the Force would balance it all out by creating an equally strong user of the Light Side. You can never have one with out the other. Nature seeks that equilibrium naturally and we much learn to do it reflexively. Yes, its good to have dreams but its also good to see the realistic chance of them become true. If either part of us takes over, becoming manic or depressed, then we lose our sense of balance and fall. Its tough to remain in the center, I know. But its so much worse becoming unbalanced.
