    born to die is the best album...these
    kind of music is very rear to found.
    it's so soothing and peace of mind.
    great musicians ever lived.

    A lot of rock bands used sax on their songs but here there's a duet between the sax and the guitar with multi sections, i don't remember another band that did something like this, Grand Funk Railroad was the best american rock band of all times, that's not just my opinion but also the opinion of the Rolling Stone magazine, thanks for sharing.

    What a great song! If any band belongs in the hot it's these guys, or at least Mark Farner, he wrote so many great songs!

    Marks guitar work is great on this song, especially where the sax and his guitar trade licks. His guitar was great on this whole album, just to hidden for my preference. His rhythm guitar on Take Me was just killer but you have to strain to even hear it. That solo on that I felt it was one of his best.

    I love the way the guitar and sax play off each other,very underrated song and album! When is mark Farner going to be elected to the hall of fame?

    1976 erschien dieser Song auf dem Album BORN TO DIE. (siehe erster Track dieser Playlist). Ich hörte den Titel im Radio Noch bevor ich mich besann, kam mein Bruder mit dierser LP an.
    Dieses Album und ich: Liebe auf das erste Hören. Der Titeltrack des Albums geht immer noch tief rein. Ein Lied über Tod, Schmerz, Verlust.
    Dieses Lied beklagt, dass die Menschen zwar etwas hören, aber nicht wirklich zuhören. Botschaften nicht verstehen.
    Ich kannte vorher den einen oder anderen Song der Band. BORN TO DIE wurde zu meinem Favoriten im Gesamtwerk der Band.
