Thankyou! Really pleased you liked it... and for thanks for the amazing feedback!
Everyday I listen this instead of the original song. Your guitar is awesome!
Cheers!
BEEN WAITING SO LONG FOR SUCH A TUTORIAL
Hope it helps!
You're my new god that's all. Your cover is very clear just thank youu
Wow, thank you!
i said the same thing when i saw this video
It took me a lot of time to do that riff, but finally I can do it. Thanks u man
Well done funky Tomas!
Do you remember the strumming pattern by any chance,he's going quite fast and I can't do it
@@claramarlot8190 The riff alternates between notes on the 3rd string with a hammer-on and notes on the first 2 strings either played at the same time or arpeggiated, all those within 2 positions. What we are going to do is play the 3rd string once, doing the hammer-on (this can be with a downward stroke) afterwards you will strum upwards the first 2 strings at once (actually everytime you will strum these two strings at one you will hit them with an upwards strum) , followed by another two strokes on the 3rd string: one alone on the second fret of the G string and the following stroke with a hammer-on. Both of these last two strokes I do them with downwards hits because I'm not very good with alternate picking; the only thing important in this riff is everytime you strum the first two strings at once do it with an upwards strum.
I'll stop my explanation here because is too hard to explain this by text and it's too late also. So I don't wanna self destruct writting something that may not be very clear hahaha, BUUUUUT if you are understanding I can continue as soon as you tell or, in case you're not getting anything, I can explain by other way. I´m always happy of helping people with guitar stuff :D
Forget that last actually, I realized a mistaken: Sparky is not playing the third string alone but at the same time with the second. The strumming is as simple as when you play the third and the second do a downward strum, when you play the first and the second use an upwards strum and when the arpeggio you can just sweep upwards or play with alt picking. That's it ksksksksks. You can still telling if any problem
This is the greatest way to present a guitar cover mate, nice work and thanks for putting it together!
Glad you like it!
Thanks so much for always providing us with professional, accurate videos to help us. Have a great Christmas 👍
Same to you Jai - despite the Villa badge! ;-) (Everton fan here - but originally from just north of Birmingham!)

Would you say this version (your version) is the most accurate or the songster one is the most accurate?
Can you please make a "hear me out" by Pixies?
nice!!!!!!!!!
HAIL THE GREAT JOEY SANTIAGO!!!
GOAT!
what software do you normally use to put the guitar partss with the song together?
Hi there! Quite a lot of different bits and pieces but at the heart of it is Logic Pro X as my DAW and I use Amplitube for the guitar tones. Then I use a few Universal Audio and Waves plugins for the mix (compressor/limiters, channel strip, EQ, reverb etc) depending on what is needed. Hope that helps!
thanks for such an incredible video friend, could you tell me what interface you use to record?
Thanks Ethan. This was a while ago so probably a 2nd hand Line6 UX1. Really cheap but worked well. Nowadays I use a PreSonus AudioBox 22VSL.
@@SparkyGuitar oh I see, thanks for answering my friend, keep making good videos

Can anyone help me out? @1:51 in the top tabs I dont understand what it is telling me to do or how to get that sound. like with the circled 7&9 i understand um supposed to push my fingers up but i dont get what exactly the placements are in the first place
Hi there! First - the circle around it simply means it lasts for 4 beats (a circle with a vertical line under the score means 2 beats). The 7 and 9 is a "unison bend". That means the 7th fret on the B string (an F#) doesn't change at all... but you slowly bend the 9th fret on the G string (which is an E) up 2 semitones (2 frets) until it is also an F#. As those 2 notes get close to each other that is what gives it that great sound. Look for a video on Unison Bends (I think Justin Guitar has a good one) for some good advice. Hope that helps!
could u please tell me which pedals are u using for this cover?
Hi Fina - details are in the description. It's in Guitar Rig... for Charles it's just a treble boost (to crank the AC30 a little) and a tremolo pedal. No pedals for Joey - straight into a Marshall.
how do you get the gibson to sound like that? idk if it’s my playing but it just wont sound right
Whats the efdects ur using
ik that this is old but what does "2v" mean at 1:30
Hi - it’s not a “v”… that’s just a “tie” connecting the note (2nd fret) to the next note (i.e. it is longer). Hope that helps!
@@SparkyGuitar oh! thank you so much !! I thought that I needed to do something extra out of ordinary there, i later realised that my guitar was out of tune TvT
thank you som much for making this by the way. Ive just gotten my first e guitar and I really love this song so im currently trying to learn how this works ^^"

Ooh… you’re hard.
Nope the dissapointment of learning tab only to find out it's wrong leaves me quite flaccid tbh
What is the right riff?

A little bit too fast, no?
