Some of the biggest risk with AI is consumer privacy, biased programming, danger to humans, and unclear legal regulations. One of the significant concerns experts cite is around consumer data privacy, and security. Many businesses and big monopoly corporations skirt data privacy violations with their collection and use practices.
There are currently limited regulations specifically targeting AI and data privacy on a global scale. Americans are being used as commodity. The people of this country have the right to privacy established in 1992 with the ratification of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR), which includes the protection of personal data. With the rapid advancement of AI technology, it is crucial that proper measures are taken to safeguard consumers, Harvard students, and faculty personnel information.
This should involve implementing robust security protocols, ensuring transparent data practices, and adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.
In closing, it is common myth that since AI is a computer system, it is inherently unbiased. However this is blatantly untrue. AI is only unbiased as the data and people training the programs. If the data is flawed, and impartial, or biased in any way, the resulting AI will be biased as well.
Remember, what we allow tells other people that we will accept.

Is this Bot only accessible to members (students, professors, etc) of HBS? Can the general public access this?
