What i find interesting about this cover(?) is that Lagtrain itself is a song that sort of talks about time and its effects on our life, how things can feel pointless* and the feeling of insignificance we have as we waste time (or when we *think* we're wasting it), simply observing as the world moves forward and we get left behind, stuck where we are... Or at least that's what i got from the rough translations i've seen of the lyrics. *: (Only that Lagtrain focuses more on being stuck on a loop and feeling like you can't get out of it. While the other song seems to be about attempting to accomplish something, making many sacrifices along the way but ultimately failing to do it, making all those sacrifices and effort feel like they were in vain.)
