After being heavily modified vs stock cars and poor drivers. Im a zl1 guy myself but this was a very bad match up lol Edit : so a lot of dummies commented since my comment. Point 1. Yes both other cars were heavily modded AND a car being expensive does not equal it being the fastest. A lot of you aren’t enthusiast, just love fast cars and it shows. Most cars like even the 720s are being built to not only go fast but stay within a margin of multiple things in order to also sell. This is why even a simple tune unlocks so much for sports cars like the mclaren so yes, even if that car is over 500k, 50k into like a vette will still stomp it if it’s stock. Last time i checked, more money doesn’t equal faster. That win is a win comment is the only comment I respect because it is very true however you can’t heavily mod a car and then say that car is better than another car that is stock because stock for stock that car is indeed NOT better. (Not saying the guy who made the comment is saying this but the initial comment is saying 15 years later the zr1 is still taking names….no the zr1 plus serious performance mods is taking names because stock it would have lost even against a bad driver) but hey, i get it. People love older cars beating newer expensive cars no matter what because it makes them feel better to think that a more average guy who spends love and time on his car will beat a guy who just threw money and wants to win 😂

There are some nice cars in that lot. You all should go to the strip. No tickets, no lost licenses. I used to street race too. It was at some industrial site in ATL. What I didn't know, was that there was a second group not far away. They were stopping on a highway. Even parking across the lanes and getting out. All this around a turn. We left our spot moving fast on the on ramp. There were two of us in F bodies around 2004. As soon as we got on the highway, there they were. We squeezed through, very narrowly missing people and cars. I heard the next weekend, some guy went through the same area. He was drunk on the highway, no lights. It didn't go well. People that street race know it's been a trend to start stopping for a short time in the highway.

My C6 ZR1 still kills the best of them on the track. No mods, pure unmolested car. Only thing I change for the track are tires and wheels, same size but sticky rubber. Buddy of mine runs a 911 turbo, I spank him on a regular basis. 12 year old tech versus a 2022 turbo awd.
