The E-Ray might be my favorite trim level vette to date. Seems like a ton of car for the money, especially since you can throw turbos on it without needing to go overboard. Nice work!

When you have too take all the seats and interior out, like whats the point? Either make it go faster or get out the way. Ctsv 2-3 Cadillac is doing low 9s high 8s full interior on stock blowers. Surely you guys make these machines fast legitimately without gutting the insides..
Cool E-Ray. What I love about a Plaid is you don't have to tinker with it. Just get in it and go. You can drive cross country, and take your family, and still run low 9's. Nothing typically break on them. Ultimately the E-Ray will be quicker but after spending a ton of money and not as streetable as a stock one. Geat to see what you've done with it. I've gone all EV for my cars and trucks now. So nice to get in and not worry about what fuel or tune I have. I still keep a very quick supercharged motorcycle though for when I want to play around with tuning, boost and fuel.
Yeah but a lot of America V8 building can easily much more than 1,000 hp very streetable Old time like 20 years ago they was hardly to make reliable streetable that much power until present. Even venom f5 is America car and 1,817 HP dead streetable. Even ssc tuatara is streetable with massive horsepower too. They cost way more I know. But Corvette engine can easily reliable way more than 1,000 HP when they use billet block and engine build that will definitely streetable. If very huge twin turbo like 750 HP MORE than right now what E-Ray has their own turbo then it will more streetable when it have more bigger turbo with less pressure (boost) then it will less stress on it.

I get it, I would never get one because unless you want to stop every couple hours, you can't drive it across the country. I have a manual c6 z06 that I track and daily and it's hard to imagine going from a cammed manual car to a silent wheel whine.
@@camonly849 Drive one and see. Charging only adds a little time to a cross country trip. I've done it in numerous EVs. Usually I just time a charging stop to eat while charging. I normally go for about 2-3 hours and charge. That would be about a 20-minute stop. The big plus is I can charge at home. It costs me about $10 to 350 miles. I spend more on my H2 Kawasaki to go that distance. The advantage to most EVs, is you are always in the right gear. No lag, just punch it and go. Wheel spin normally stops about 70 mph and then it is at full power. No muss, no fuss, just instant acceleration. No overheating in traffic. I can take the whole family along for the fun. My Vette it was just me and my wife. My kids enjoy the Plaid the most. Turning them into acceleration junkies one traffic light at a time. Very few cars can beat a quick EV from a light.
@wavshrdr8452 I'm sure I would really like the acceleration. But usually when I do road trips it's my goal to stop as little as possible lol. I would be mad stopping every 3 hrs....and then not getting a full charge. When I go to Florida I have to stop twice for gas, unless there's an extra bathroom break, and it's a 15 hr drive. If EVs will have 500 miles of range and fill up in less than 5 minutes, I'll get one.

Was thinking of a badass daily like a r35, c7 Z with 2650 upgrade, c6 zr1, gt4 6Mt, but if you guys can run 8s in this im buying this and ordering your kit This is also still on pump 93 right?
100% running 8s. This is still the super basic engine in our setup with just forged pistons (still stock cam and stock DOD lifters And stock rods) car has blown away expectations and now the next stage has to happen 🚀🚀

Roll race, to see which one is the faster street car it’s obviously the Corvette. Nobody races, Diggs street cars are measured 60 to 130. The trap Speed does not lie. The plaid is truly impressive though.

This E-Ray despite the twin turbo setup proves that a pushrod cross-plane crankshaft sounds better than a flatplane crankshaft in the ZO6. They're all good, but in my humble opinion a cross-plane crankshaft has more low-end torque and sounds much better on idle with them chops and when blasted down the quarter mile. Such great motors these LS/LT engines are.

But the problem isnt the motor. Its how big and how much power the battery can send to the motor
