I once flew to Dublin for similar reasons. My employer needed to get a 70lb box to Dublin in less than 36 hours due to a flub on our part, and I was Star Alliance Gold. I took the box, drove to the airport, slapped down my credit card and went "Get me to Dublin." I got there, was on the ground for 18 hours, delivered the box, had a few more beers than I hsould have, and flew home to Canada.

I love your travel videos Noel. I'm 70 yrs old now and don't enjoy travel anymore. I used to travel the world when I was young. Now I live vicariously through your travel videos. Thank you for the wonderful adventures. ❤
Too bad you've lost the love of travel. I am also 70 and all I can ever think about is getting on the plane, I saved my money every 3 months just to hop on one even if it's just a short distance to Florida or hanging out in California. Hopefully watching one of his videos will inspire you to get back in the air again.
Another Oscar winning performance! My favorite bits? The reaction of the LH cabin crew on realizing you were a first class passenger; the line "shoe horn: Lufthansa stepping up their game with that", and the welcome staff at LH first class terminal: "Is this your first time in first class?" Keep them coming.
Virgin Australia has real-time tracking for checked bags now. Their app will alert you when your bag boards each plane or when it’s about to pop out on a baggage claim. It’s very reassuring when you have a few transfers in a row.
A wonderful adventure, and super exclusive glimpse of the Lufthansa First Class terminal! Thank you for sharing, and hope the team curry was to your satisfaction!😊
Another great video! A creative approach to solving a logistics problem. When I ship anything in cardboard, I always put the merch in plastic bags, just for the possibility that the box may be exposed to rain!
@30anvz28 On my return trip after transporting it, I overheard a lady ask for help lifting her carryon bag, noting that it was heavy because it had her sewing machine in it!
FYI: I am an OBC (On board courier), so travel around the world delivering boxes such as these as a job.......with your baggage tag numbers you can ask at the desk at the gate to confirm that the packages have been loaded on the plane. Most larger airports (such as Chicago, Frankfurt etc) have the computer facility at the gate to do this. (It takes some of the stress out of wondering if they are down in the hold!)
Technically the rear wheels touch down first so the passengers closest to the landing gear are first I believe. The only way your the first to land in the 747 in that seat is if your landing nose first in which case never mind.
What an awesome video, Noel. I am a big guy and have found Lufthansa’s premium economy product fit for use. I have on recent flights bid for a business and first class upgrade. Quite frankly, they are not worth the extra money. My best business class experiences, service and value for money, have been aboard British Airways and Air France. I have been upgraded to first class on these carriers and had a wonderful time.
This was rather fun and quite an adventure for your boxes! It’s so funny to hear people talking about the dreadful UK weather when I absolutely love the rain. It’s my favorite! I live in Las Vegas where we get very little rain and so I’m envious of the UK.
Great video! Say what you want about LH, I know their cabin does not contain as much gold and wood as the one from Emirates, whether that is classy or not is for you to decide. This first class terminal though with the insane Porsche ride across the airport is on a different level.
Wow, thank you for another fabulous trip video. Sitting at the front of the 747 has got to be the best seat in the sky! What other aircraft has such beauty and function? What other aircraft has ever enabled you (or ever will enable you) to sit ahead of the pilots! Thanks for ‘taking’ so many people along with you, who can’t do it for real.

It's fine and dandy so long as the plane doesn't crash. People in the front of the craft tend to die more than people further back. One reason I wonder why they put first class in the front. I guess easier boarding and departure and smoother ride compared to the back.
I think that's common. I grew up in the southeast USA and had a pretty thick southern accent. Moved out of state for a few years, mostly lost the accent, but it came right back when I moved back. Now I have a Redneck/Californian/Texan accent with a bit of British due to how much British media I've consumed over the years. Most people can't tell exactly where my accent is from lol

As I was watching this video, my wife asked, “is this the guy who travels for a living even though he hates traveling?” After thinking on this for a second, I told her, “No. I think he really enjoys traveling. He’s just British.” She still declined when I offered to order her some socks.
26:12 Just an FYI to flyers: In wet conditions, pilots don't care about making the landing silky smooth. Their priority is to get on the ground and stopped as safely as possible.
For the World Airline Historical Society, for the Captain's Log, the quarterly Magazine, we had a friend come from the UK to our house to pick up the European members Mags to send from the UK or even get to Europe to save on the postage of sending them by USPS to the European members. If you have the means and friends, You gained some miles and some new luxuries. Going from one terminal to the other by Porsche is a new item to tick off the box.
This was great!! I have a vintage & antique shop and ship worldwide and you are right. Shipping rates can be atrocious. I can ship to California from Ontario, Canada usually cheaper than to British Columbia...in my own country. I don't have the airmiles you have and my parcels are smaller/lighter than what you were dealing with but I still was totally intrigued by your video concept this week. Great fun and, hurrah, all 3 arrived, soggy but okay. As for Lufthansa, I've only flown with them a couple of times (economy, I'm afraid) and the service was top notch.
We did that with my son when he went to college. 4 of us, Southwest. 8 as large as they allow boxes for free (2 per person). Half the price of renting a car and driving it there, and lord knows how much cheaper than shipping it all.
Love your video. I used to cater United. I like to see the galleys I used to cater. Then see what you get to eat on the planes. It takes me back when I worked at Sky Chefs in Tampa.
Noel, I've worked in logistics for quite some time. If you open a business UPS shipping account, the parcel price goes way down. Sometimes up to 90 percent.
I love these videos because I will not be able to fly business or first class ever. The thing to remember is Noel, that we watch these to see what it is like and to live vicariously through you, the amenity kits you get are something that most of us will never get as we always have to fly economy. I would have loved that kit that you said was not that great. Keep up the great videos. :D
You truly are dedicated to ur job and merch..I've never seen anyone put as much effort into doing all the jobs like this and made it enjoyable traveling except for the rain at the end. But that's amazing how it cost less to take first class than even use USPS .that's interesting
Love that air miles collected from your videos on aviation have saved you money on shipping your merch bought by people watching your videos on aviation.
Definitely the coolest plane in the LH fleet. Last time in July i got to fly on their upper deck to mexico city. way cooler than in the lower deck. first class i haven't had the pleasure. but i'd love to try their first class one day, mainly due to the first class terminal experience on the ground in FRA or MUC. their cabin is of course miles behid that of the competition.
I have to admit that I'm totally jealous that you fly first class. One time my mother treated me to first class from NY to Orlando. It was nothing like first class long haul. Coach on BA was nicer. Am planning a trip to Korea next year. Wish I could afford first class for that....long flight and trying for direct flight
I felt the pain about her acting surprised 🤣 I got that on Aeroflot last month when I had a business class ticket for a Moscow-Vladivostok flight. After I got seated, a flight attendant came and asked for my boarding pass, I guess to verify my seat assignment (though she didn't check anyone else's). And she openly acted surprised that I, in fact, had a business class seat. Kinda pissed me off, to be honest, especially since I have Aeroflot Platinum status. I guess I wasn't over-dressed obnoxiously enough with designer labels and tacky jewelry to meet her definition of premium class passenger 😅
I know that feeling! It's part of why I stopped flying American Airlines. If I'm not going to be treated like a business or first class passenger, why pay those fees??
I am a person who puts their wealth into body, gym, person trainer, and flight tickets, but in the winter I look like a hobo, just dressed enough to not be cold, in pitch black clothes that are VERY worn out. I am from Berlin, so showing off wealth makes me feel sick, and I just feel so good in my favorite pants. They look "normal" but surely not "D&G". When I travel in the summer I dress extravagant and you can see my body and they assume I am a famous sports person and they are a bit "too flirty", when I am travelling in the winter you can see them doing EXACTLY WHAT YOU EXPERIENCED. ugh. Even worse, the macros on the food on that flight is not enough for a BB-er to not starve, so I have to always travel with a bag of protein bars.
Flying into Frankfurt looks just like when I flew into Düsseldorf a year ago yesterday to visit my best friend. I miss the German January blah weather!
Great video Noel...my heart was missing a beat waiting for the boxes to appear on the conveyor!! Lovely little first class jaunt..Lufthansa very impressive product & customer service...keep these videos coming
Always have, but first time to comment! BTW Please don't ever internalise these trolls whatever vile narrative they giving on your site...you're a top guy with a great family...mostly these folk are just jealous of success of happiness...keep smashing it and giving us great content mate! What a cool and interesting “hack”! I think this might only work if you have a high status. I do see several people bringing all sorts of stuff on my flights. I’m also a UA-camr from Houston! I don’t know if you would ever collaborate with such a small channel, but I would love to vlog with you one day!
Since your baggage was not personal items but instead unused commercial goods meant for resale, did you need to declare them at the customs and pay import duties on them?
I used to fly courier flights back in the 1990s. I went LAX to Singapore, Manila, and Beijing many times for about $400 RT. A great deal for a college student on a budget on short notice. I wish they still had those courier flights.
@@avishjha4030 It IS judgy. Let's play a game; You are in a rest room/WC. A person enters wearing a dress. What room are you in? Judged on appearance, initial reaction based on established norms. You can act like you belong there, and dress the part. He did neigher. Yet we know he has the money to fly FC if he wants.
Noel, I love watching your travel videos and reviews. You have encouraged me to want to start my own UA-cam travel vlogs and all fingers crossed, my first video will drop in April. Thank you for the inspiration.
That 1st class terminal and the ride on the Porsche were so cool! I hear that Delta sometimes and randomly transfer 1st class passengers on a Porsche in ATL too, but they don't have that amazing terminal!
Noel don’t let people live rent free in your head, it’s hard to ignore people when they make nasty comments and they don’t even know your story they don’t even know who you are. I for one think you’re doing a wonderful job.
Pro tip. You can get it done for way cheaper if you go to a freight forwarding company. Based on those dimensions and boxes, it should not cost more than 500-600$ from Texas to london including pickup from your residence.
Doing connecting flights to get to your final destination is always the best. Usually it is cheaper, and you get to go on more planes. Great video Noel!
I had the opportunity to sit in that seat back in the 80s on Northwest Orient Airlines, yes it was that long ago. Maybe they had dropped the Orient name by that time. I found it cool that because of the shape of the fuselage, you can kind of see forward out the first window.
@@HawkeyeFLA I don't think I want to spend hours in planes and airports and hotels or 5 days in an american bus, I actually travel using my bicycle during my holidays and I think seeing the world through Noel's videos makes it 100 times more interesting
Awesome video Noel and loving the recent music choices in the videos too. Wish I could find out when I first started watching your videos as its feels like it’s been over 3 years
I was surprised the amenity kit of Lufthansa is not the typical environmental friendly blue bag, this one actually much better, the little loo is the 1st class looks more beautiful than expected! And the Frankfurt lounge and drove to plane with a Porsche , wow! The service may match up with top airlines!
I wondered how this would end up going as surely the merchandise if sent by UPS would have included an element of import duty and VAT which is tricky when travelling across international borders with the goods in hand and declaring to customs. You also included your passage through customs as part of the video and we did not see how the declaration in red channel worked. I know you can bring in £390 of goods but that is only for personal use. If it is business then how does it work as it appears to be a very fast and convenient way to import.
Brillant Noel. It's unbelievable how the courier companies are pricing the shipment way more than the passenger jets. I remember the days courier was the way to go, but I think they'll be going under unless they change their ways of treating customers. Definitely your points from United helped out big time, but $2,000 US to send 3 boxes maybe 35 lbs each is still ripping the customer off big time. Lufthansa is a good airline and my wife and I had experienced business class with then September 2023 Toronto to Frankford we were bumped up from Premium. We were very satisfied. Yes that the flooding in the UK actually alot of Europe was great this time your came over. Happy New Years Noel and family catch you next video
The logistics of Noel Phillips merch is amazing. I ordered before and had a slight issue with it being delivered but hopefully it’s resolved now. I thought it would have been just dropped shipped. Keep up the good work!
I used AA miles in 2003 for BA First B744 LHR-SIN-SYD roundtrip and in 2994 for QF First B744 LAX-MEL, SYD-LAX. I was also by the nose each time and noticed the same noise effect from the nose gear. Very cool!
Cracking journey (...not the rainy bit!) and a very timely and cost effective method so well done you. Flown Lufthansa around Europe a bit but never long haul and they are efficient, helpful and friendly. Never lost a hold bag at Frankfurt but know people who have, their First Class facility looked impressive and to checked in and deposited via a Porsche - well what a treat :o) Be well.
Dude, you are hilarious! The whole thing with being in the shower with your glasses on. The bit with you drying your hair! And I appreciated the advertisement that you did, because it's hopeful to hear someone who has to deal with public judgment who seems to adapt to it pretty well. Kudos my good man!

Relax. You are cool. I’m glad you get to enjoy such cool trips.
I appreciate that!
Probably would have been cheaper if he put a weight just under 70 lbs as 70 and over is considered overweight
No excuse for content then though?
I love these videos because I will not be able to fly business or first class ever. The thing to remember is Noel, that we watch these to see what it is like and to live vicariously through you, the amenity kits you get are something that most of us will never get as we always have to fly economy. I would have loved that kit that you said was not that great. Keep up the great videos. :D
You truly are dedicated to ur job and merch..I've never seen anyone put as much effort into doing all the jobs like this and made it enjoyable traveling except for the rain at the end. But that's amazing how it cost less to take first class than even use USPS .that's interesting
Enjoying your videos.. allows me to experience what it's like traveling around the world. Appreciate you! ✌
Well done Noel! Yes shipping prices are ridiculous! Safe trip home. Regards from Brum!
Love that air miles collected from your videos on aviation have saved you money on shipping your merch bought by people watching your videos on aviation.
Love your videos Noel! And seem like a genuinely nice and cool person! Don't listen to the trolls.
I appreciate that!
Love the video, just looked up the content after meeting you at LGW the other week.. looks like i've got some videos to binge watch now
Awesome! Thank you!
Well said.
A loo with a view, I would never get out of there! Such a nice flight! A great video, as always! Thanks Noel
POV: Indonesian when they dont wanna use Lionparcel
Flying into Frankfurt looks just like when I flew into Düsseldorf a year ago yesterday to visit my best friend. I miss the German January blah weather!
Would have been interesting to see how you dealt with customs, that would be a consideration for me if I carried products for my employer.
Just what I thought.
Great video Noel...my heart was missing a beat waiting for the boxes to appear on the conveyor!! Lovely little first class jaunt..Lufthansa very impressive product & customer service...keep these videos coming
Glad you enjoyed it
Always have, but first time to comment! BTW Please don't ever internalise these trolls whatever vile narrative they giving on your site...you're a top guy with a great family...mostly these folk are just jealous of success of happiness...keep smashing it and giving us great content mate! Best regards@@noelphilips
What a cool and interesting “hack”! I think this might only work if you have a high status. I do see several people bringing all sorts of stuff on my flights.
I’m also a UA-camr from Houston! I don’t know if you would ever collaborate with such a small channel, but I would love to vlog with you one day!
Brilliant Service ! Happy New Year ! Most air cargo places can seal wrap yer boxes for weather and tamper protection, just a thought.
Made me laugh when the stewardess sounded shocked you were in first class haha. Bit rude but funny. Good video Noel :)
Good business idea. I’ll get on a plane and fly anything legal from anywhere to anywhere. First class plus a small delivery fee. Sorted. Fun!
Since your baggage was not personal items but instead unused commercial goods meant for resale, did you need to declare them at the customs and pay import duties on them?
I was wondering the same! perhaps why it was cheaper since no tax
Good point. Either way he'll have to pay any tarrifs if they are due. Potentially the amounts may be under the minimum quota though.
Looks like they went through the Green Channel 💀
@@gareth7548what’s the green channel?
I used to fly courier flights back in the 1990s. I went LAX to Singapore, Manila, and Beijing many times for about $400 RT. A great deal for a college student on a budget on short notice. I wish they still had those courier flights.
I love the 747. What a plane! ❤
This reminds me of the good old days of "air courier" rides 40 years ago!!! I love flying the Lufthansa 747s. I've never had a bad flight or crew.
“She didn’t need to sound so surprised”
Epic! So funny and so true. Great post Noel
Not very surprised was I by the flight attendant's reaction. He wore clothes more suited for "steerage" than first/business class.
@@cliffontheroad That sounds so judgy though.
@@cliffontheroad I do get your point, but still the FA didn't have to act shocked, they should be better trained.
Noel, I love watching your travel videos and reviews. You have encouraged me to want to start my own UA-cam travel vlogs and all fingers crossed, my first video will drop in April. Thank you for the inspiration.
That gives a new meaning to “I’ll deliver it myself” 😅
More connections means more chance for lost baggage.
@@robertsharp67 Good point, but it would be the airlines duty to get the bag to you at some point.
1. Looking at the aircraft registration at 24:42
2. Laughing
3. Thinking that my humour is tasteless
What about customs? I was expecting him to get shafted.
One of my favourite videos of yours Noel. 3 sectors, great jets and such a cool reason for flying too! Love it!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I had the opportunity to sit in that seat back in the 80s on Northwest Orient Airlines, yes it was that long ago. Maybe they had dropped the Orient name by that time. I found it cool that because of the shape of the fuselage, you can kind of see forward out the first window.
Must be Lovely Memories you Had Great Time ❤ Wish i Could Fly First on 747 Nose
Wow! Well done Noel. That was epic. Just goes to show, where there is a will, there is a way. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Watching Noel's adventures is actually better than travelling yourself
Why wouldn't you want to venture out and explore what the world has to offer from your own perspective?
@@HawkeyeFLA I don't think I want to spend hours in planes and airports and hotels or 5 days in an american bus, I actually travel using my bicycle during my holidays and I think seeing the world through Noel's videos makes it 100 times more interesting
Awesome video Noel and loving the recent music choices in the videos too. Wish I could find out when I first started watching your videos as its feels like it’s been over 3 years
Thanks 👍
Noel, you didn't mention how you cleared the boxes through customs in London
Love your fellow traveller having a good old gawk and peering over at 11:30 to see who you were talking to 😂😂
I was surprised the amenity kit of Lufthansa is not the typical environmental friendly blue bag, this one actually much better, the little loo is the 1st class looks more beautiful than expected!
And the Frankfurt lounge and drove to plane with a Porsche , wow! The service may match up with top airlines!
I actually like those themed shopping bags, but those are in C, not F.
That loo with a window is great. That natural light just makes it much nicer.
Interesting reason for a great trip. Excellent, Noel. Rock on!
22:00 “and I will find you” sound so cool and ominous at the same time
The logistics of Noel Phillips merch is amazing. I ordered before and had a slight issue with it being delivered but hopefully it’s resolved now. I thought it would have been just dropped shipped. Keep up the good work!
I think this is one of my favourite videos on your channel Noel, brilliant! Hope you had a lovely curry with Mr merchandise manager
As for trolls.. Noel you are such a dude! Nothing but respect for you. Big love mate, ignore the haters! ❤
I appreciate that
I used AA miles in 2003 for BA First B744 LHR-SIN-SYD roundtrip and in 2994 for QF First B744 LAX-MEL, SYD-LAX.
I was a bit concerned the boxes weren't going to fit on the E190.....
I didn’t know the E190s had Business Class granted it’s just Economy style EuroBiz but still!? 😂
@@Calebs_Aviationi recently flew on EuroBiz on a CRJ900, it was even worse, the 1A seat I was sat in had no recline (the regulars had) and I got no meal because ‘they didn’t expect to prepare it’s
Well done done Noel, that’s well sorted, and an adventure to boot.
Least we forget about your Lufthansa duck. I imagine one of your lads will claim it.
The third bonus of your trip, you were able to film content, perhaps , you could go into the transport business as well. Happy New Year, and here’s to all your future adventures.
