Sleep Hypnosis for Anxiety (newest version)

- Hello my name is Jody and welcome to this video Sleep Hypnosis for Social Anxiety. Please make sure you are comfortable before we begin. Once you have found a position on a bed, sofa, chair, or even the floor that is pleasing to you I would like you to take a nice deep breath in and then slowly let it go to help yourself relax and prepare you mind and body to become deeply relaxed and perhaps fall asleep while listening to these hypnotic suggestions and positive affirmations so you can, while you simply relax and do nothing at all, make changes deep within your psyche so when you wake up or get up, when it is time to wake up or get up you will be able to feel relaxed and at ease in social situations or anytime you are around people and would like to feel comfortable and maybe even enjoy your time you spend with people..maybe even people who are new to you...and as you take another deep breath in..just for now..and as you let that breath go imagining all stress or trapped energy flowing away from you...flowing away as you just let this breath go..and you could imagine you are becoming more and more relaxed with each and every breath you let go..and just for now for the purpose of this exercise I would like you to imagine these new people or people you already know..are friendly...whether or not this is true right now is not important..what is important is just for now you attach friendly feelings to new people..if you can and if not that's okay too because as I talk about some relaxing things..your subconscious mind can receive some suggestions to help you make the neuro -association between new people or people who make you nervous and friendly relaxed feelings...so you can meet the world without fear and feel confident in any situation... it may be important for you to listen to my words during this introduction if you find them interesting and if you don't no worries it will soon be over and even if you allow your attention to wander your sub conscious will still be receiving suggestions to help you feel better..you may feel better now or later...maybe in a few minutes. Or perhaps tomorrow and if at any time you feel sleepy or drowsy this is just wonderful because you can fall asleep at any time and rest assured there will still be a part of your mind still awake and doing all the work for you while you drift off into a long sound and pleasant sleep..rest deeply and rest well..so you can wake up when it is time to wake up feeling great and ready to do what it is you are going to do..feeling happy and relaxed and feeling well..and you may like to run a scan of your body right now to make sure you are fully relaxed and are not holding any tension in any of your muscles..and if you do notice somewhere you are a little bit tense you can just let that tension go and fill that area with warm feelings of relaxation..and it would also be helpful if you check on your breathing to make sure you are breathing deeply and sofly..Breathing down deep into your belly to key in your body's relaxation response. It's okay to relax and feel good now because this is your time just for you and this is a good thing...a great thing really..that you are taking this time for yourself to relax fully and improve yourself while you rest or sleep...and you may realise now..right now you are in charge..you can choose to make the little changes that can add up to big results..and these little changes that can start happening right now..can give you the power to be able to do the things you would like to do feeling happy, relaxed, and in control of how you feel..and because of this you may feel more powerful..even if it is just a little bit..you can feel more powerful and like this feeling so it can grow and become a very big part of who you are..and you can realise how wonderful you are..and live with happiness and peace..feeling good about yourself..and that is who you are..the real you..and you can while you relax, rest, or sleep..allow your mind to let go of old reactions or patterns of feeling and plant new ones...new ways of feeling that are pleasing to you..and you can like these feelings, make them welcome, and encourage them to grow...and sometime after now you may feel anxious..and if you do you can breathe deeply into your belly to help yourself relax .......

I love the sleeping cat video! When I can't sleep from anxiety I like it when my cat sleeps next to me. I feel his breathing, will reach out and put my hand on him and he will purr, which is also calming.
Jody, my husband and I absolutely love your videos. We both have difficulty sleeping at night due to chronic stress. We have even gone through periods when we relied on sleeping pills to get a few hours of sleep. In the last month we've listened to your videos several times a week and it's worked wonders for us!! We're more relaxed and well rested. I have especially noticed the difference in my job performance- I work in the emergency medical services, and it can be over stimulating. Lately I've been more focused and calm at work. I attribute this to listening to these soothing videos at night to help me unwind. Thank you SO much. you have truly changed the way I feel before I fall asleep.... this is the first and only hypnosis recording I've ever tried... and the only one I'll ever need.... from the bottom of my heart thank you! my anxiety is the worst type someone can have. these recordings help make life more bearable.

+alistercade There are several factors in treating shyness at home. One plan I found that successfully combines these is the Seans Shy Program (google it if you're interested) it's the most helpful plan that I have ever heard of. look at the unbelievable info .

Thanks so much for putting these videos online, the past 2 nights i slept with this one on, and it was the first 2 nights that I was actually able to sleep without sleeping pills + had good dreams and woke up early and refreshed! it also already helped a bit with my social anxiety.
I just have 1 question: is it bad to listen to this (or any of your other hypnosis tapes) too often? i bought a hypnosis tape a while ago for an anxiety and it said not to listen to it every day but more like once a week or month, though he didnt give a reason why.

I personally find that if I listen to the same hypnosis over and over again, it stops working, but that's just me.

Wow..terrible nightmares! Was I having a panic attack in my sleep?? Seems that most of the anxiety videos give me very bad, scary dreams. But I still wake up rested and in a really good/energetic mood...:-?
I am a little late on this comment. But bad dreams aren't necessarily a bad thing. Dreaming is a way to help you vent and cope subliminally. After the initial shock and being upset, I usually feel a little better the days following a nightmare. And I try to figure out why those feelings manifested in the first place.

I listened to your videos at night for months and everything seemed to go fantastic, anxiety and depression were manageable, (though I had a tougher time getting out of bed in the morning, probably due to sleeping better lol) I got a lot accomplished, started a business, then...I stopped. And it got tougher to function. I know I can't give your fantastic videos 100% credit because of vitamins and other factors, but I listened to this again last night for the first time in more than 6 months, and today went great, I felt great, and I feel like i got a lot done. Thank you for posting these videos, they are really appreciated. :-) Do you have any of these on a CD or as an mp3 download anywhere?

Hypnosis cannot work if the voice is not comforting, and that's different for everyone. I do not find this comforting because of the quality of the audio. I can hear a ting in her voice as if it's altered electronically. Not restful, very annoying.
I like the content but I do have to agree it would be better with a clearer recording.
