@@mayaj291 I don't, I've never tried an Elf foundation. Loreal newest foundation is a really good one from the drugstore. I like higher end foundations but that one is the truth I love reaching for it.

@@mayaj291 hii! I have oily /normal skin and I find that milanu 2 in 1 worked Amazing. I've now started using nars sheer glow. Hope it helps!
I've been enjoying ELFs Oil Control Lotion & Toner Balm, both for oily skin. They seem to be helping quite a bit, the lotion is moisturizing without being greasy and the toner balm just feels nice.

To me, It doesn’t matter if their roasting or flippant to someone I don’t like. I don’t think any of us wanna get on a slippery slope with brands that aren’t accountable or Internet “roasters”.
I’m obviously in the minority in my opinion tho🤷🏾♀️ but it’s all fun and games with brands that don’t give a fuck until they do something the general public finds more offending like shitty shade ranges, or off the wall rants to paying customers, shady practices etc etc. imo unprofessionalism doesn’t start being ok when it’s someone we hate.

You should compare the E.L.F. Blurring Primer Serum to the Farsalí Skintune Blur Primer. I've seen Taisha here on youtube compare the two and you couldn't tell a difference (she also has only skin). It's $10 *so definitely* cheaper than Farsalí.
The only makeup brand that I feel can trash task via social media is Fenty because Rihanna stay clapping back so it almost feels “on brand” when Fenty does it.

Wow, yeah the Elf side held up well! Looks pretty, and 20 bucks less? Yesss. And we have the same skin type, im oily combo and dewy/hydrating sometimes performs beautifully on the skin. Just depends sometimes lol.
Ya Elf WON!!!!!!!!! I have both and I like the elf one better. If you don’t like scents you may prefer the one by milk because the elf one does have a slight watermelon scent (that I love). Apparently the elf primer is special edition so stock up!!!!!
I have both primers and have oliy/combo skin. I like both, but the Milk Hydrogrip Primer works best for me, especially when under harsh lights and being in hot environments.

Also, drugstore/affordable brands create dupes all the time from high end/more expensive products, from similar layouts with palettes to packaging.
Obviously I was being sarcastic when I said I wasn't aware JC invented rainbow palettes bc of his reaction to the W&W palette.

All the dupe brands/products I’ve seen (bad habit, makeup revolution shop hush or whatever) aren’t literally damn near an exact copy. Change the color scheme around or something. That’s basically the gist of what he said. It’s pretty exact. Not that he invented the colors. And then a whole brand wanna like shady comments and subtly clap back and people excuse their unprofessionalism because they hate James Charles? Lol ok. ELF has really been killing it with the primers recently, I finally got my hands on their primer putty a month back and when I use a small amount it really makes a huge difference it's now a staple. I've been curious about the Milk primer but that price tag made me hesitate. Looking forward to trying this next!

1. To be fair, Foundation hunt is amazing. I love that you take the time to make honest reviews and give foundations a chance, even if you know they may not work out for you. But I am all for seeing you do a "cop or pass" type deal with multiple releases if it makes it easier to work with.
2. Honestly feels like the elf one might work better for oily skin cause it's not extremely shiny from the door, but that could be the "it's not $30" speaking

I personally really like the elf primer I have combination skin, I just set the primer before applying foundation (Jackie Aina method) and my makeup stays all day whether the foundation is dewy or matte

I deeply appreciate this comparison video because I have no interest in getting on the CBD bandwagon so I’m happy there’s an alternative to the Milk primer. And for a third of the price!
Coming through on camera, I’d say the elf side worked better at keeping you oils at bay. After you blotted the milk side everything looked good. I liked the finish of your foundation. I’ve tried both primers. I did not like the milk one. My face felt suffocated, I don’t have oily skin but the oils showed up that day. It emphasized my texture and was just overall horrible for me. I tried it again to no avail. On the other hand, I love the elf primer. It even works well with powder foundation.
I will watch any video you upload so... foundation hunt week or multiple foundations in a video.
