You're a beast at making charts. Simplifies info so anyone can understand. I'd like to know though for cyclical keto. By how much do you increase carb intake, for your carb up day? I'd like to try it out for strength performance, but I'm insulin resistant and I don't wanna get sluggish from eating too many carbs. I also don't do cardio, so burning my glycogen stores takes a little longer.

I do keto where I eat strictly keto all day (fasting till noon-ish) workout in the evening, and then eat carbs only post workout. I heard Ben Greenfield talk about this on a podcast and gave it a shot. Feel great all day and then a couple carbs post workout ! Super easy to follow as well, especially if you live at home and dont have much control over dinner.
So if I’m going do the hckd how many calories do I add to my maintenance? If my maintenance is 1840

doesn't the tkd , 75 gram hi carb postwo wouldnt' be the more anabolical& sparing for mass , i don't take drugs or test , and i know that SKD can lower Test level for athletes , im' right now thinking about your protocol im balanced toward TKD carbbackloaded & your high calorie keto style , do you have had any issue with your t-3 lvl since your switch to SKD ?
Keto diet forever. The best diet ever. And it is not so hard to do it, do not need to think all the time about calories. Low carbs= low insulin= get lean muscles.

So regular bulking with carbs is BWx20 and bulking with strict high calorie keto is BWx25. I want to give this a go. Kinda skeptical just because calories are higher on keto but it's worth trying.

If you have a LOT of fat to lose then staying on standard keto for long periods without carbs is better. You’re going to notice that the next day of splurging on carbs everything gets thrown off a little.
i count my calories and eat 50% of my calories from carbs because i love them also hate high fat diet gross!
Ketosis is just what happens when your body is low to no carbs.
We are all born in ketosis.
We are all feed non ketogenic foods and spend our life begins leaving the option of ketosis for our bodies to use fat as well as fuel.
The ketogenic diet is only a way to reset our bodies back to the beginnings and use both.
Once adapted to start the stronger the adaption gets the longer your in ketosis and after a while you can switch from one to the other but staying in keto the greater percentage of the time.
And we bounce around from both.
We still must be active.
The above doesn't mention the healing benefits when adding fasting to keto either.
My diabetic scars I've had for years are healing like I just got them.
Also there is no loose skin when using fasting either.
Yeah, I’d just warn people of doing the CKD. It will really make you feel like life sucks going in and out of Keto all the time. If you cannot manage doing Keto all the time, TKD is a way better option.
