After searching for about 30 minutes on how to fix this, this is the one video that helped me completely. Thank you so much! I have the same system case, same fan hub, same everything. Following the video was super easy, very well made for beginners like me
I just came across your video and I wanted to thank you, a lot of videos about this case assume that the first timers know more than they actually do, but I appreciate you keeping it very simple and going back to the basics. Thanks for your help, greatly appreciated!
I've always wanted to build a PC but not knowing where all the connectors go has been the part that has stopped me. Watching this video has exorcised that demon and maybe now I'm ready to give it a go. Thank you for this video
I have been searching for hours just because no one mentioned that you connect all front fans power cables to one cable and then that to the motherboard So simple yet no one said it Thank you again, i can finally go sleep
Thank you very much for a very clearly presented description of the problem and solution. I was at the end of building my first PC and needed clarification about powering the fans 🎉🍻
Nice! I‘m looking long time for how i Connect my fans on the motherboard. I didnt know that i can put the 3 Pin into a 4 Pin. Looking for adapter etc. Its so simple. 😂 Thanks man!
I want to control the speed of the 3 intake fans and the 1 exhaust fan differently. Current setup is connecting them all just like you do but using FanControl it seems all of them is set to same speed. If I connect the exhaust fan by itself to the motherboard, it would work right?
Great video, have the same case and found this helpful right up to the end. Was just hoping for some demonstration on how to use the rgb hub with the motherboard. It does say in the case manual to hold the reset button down for 5 seconds after installing the motherboards rgb software. Will let you know
i have the same montech case and i'm having an issue with it. when i bought it, everything worked fine, but after a few months, out of nowhere, when i turn on the computer, fans are spinning but ARGB ins't working. i have to disconnect the ARGB controller SATA/power cable and connect it again to the power supply, and then it works again. if i turn off my PC, when i turn it on again i have to do the same thing to get ARGB working. any ideas? i've been thinking of buying a new ARGB controller...
Great video. My motherboard has 1amp and 2amp fan headers. Is it safe to plug the fan splitter cable into a 1amp header? I can’t find the amp rating of the fans anywhere
Do you need a 3 pin ARGB header on your motherboard or is that just to control the leds from your pc because i dont have a 3 pin argb header and dont mind using the reset button
if your mobo doesnt have a 3 pin connector it just means you wont be able to control the rgb through software, just plug the sata power and other connectors for now and use the button on the case to change the colors, its not as specific but its better than no rgb
Could be because you pc takes a while to heat up. Basically the hotter your pc gets the more power gets sent to the fans and once there is enough power the fans light up

@JohnnyDPCPlayground Thank you, Johnny! But, I still have a question. I know this motherboard is one with WiFi, but I still want to know if I can still use my ethernet cable to run it. Thanks.
@JohnnyDPCPlayground Sorry to ask another question, but I just wanted to ask if the Asrock B660m pro rs also supports the ARGB Input cable on the motherboard? Just trying to save some extra bucks 😅😅
i did exactly that with the argb plugged to the mobo (b550m tuf plus) and wont sync with mobo rgb. It only syncs the case fans and wc fans that are plugged to the case controller rgb, but its different color than mobo and rams. Can u help?
Go to the product page and download the argb sync software this should hepwww.asrock.com/Graphics-Card/AMD/Radeon%20RX%206650%20XT%20Steel%20Legend%208GB%20OC/index.asp#Download
I have everything plugged up exactly like this. Tje fans spin but no rgb on any of the fans including cpu cooler tjat is hooked up to the hub. Is it possible that I just got a bad hub?
@emodity yes, i found a email on reddit for support and they ended up sending a replacement. Funny thing is my problem was a bad sata cable from my modular power supply. I tried to use a different one from a different power supply and fried 3 fans. Smh lessons learned that day. Never use modular cable from another brand or even same brand but different model.
Thank you so much, searched for hours online why my case Fans are not spinning until I found this video
This was the best guide I have seen. I was struggling for hours before seeing this. This guy is the Bob Ross of the PC world.

Thanks so much finally I can game without my computer blowing up 😂
Dude you're a hero. Just finished building my 1st pc using the Montech Sky Two and didn't know you had to connect the sata cable.
this man single handedly saved my entire pc build

Thank you so much!, i have a question. I don't have any 3 Pin on my Motherboard, is there anything that i can use to connect the ARGB Input?
Well i actually fixed the problem myself by buying a better motherboard....
Great video! Super informative. I just finished a build with this case and I could not sort out the fans and ARGB connections. It all works now.
Great to hear!
wow, nobody told me they needed sata power except you. thank you!
Can I control the fan RGB through the case button if I don't plug in the ARGB header? My motherboard doesn't have it

This video was excellent. The steps were clear and easy to follow.
Great to hear!
Fans are overlooked by pc builders and aren't ever explained well, well done.
Your video helped me a lot! Much health and success to you.

This will definitely be helpful for the beginners. Thank you.

Great guide , I was banging my head getting this to work , I missed connecting the SATA power 😂😂😂
Thank you so much good sir,
I'm gonna build my new pc with this montech air 100 argb ❤
Hope everything is ok and normal

Hey, did it work holding down the button for 5 seconds? I got the same case
Thanks helped a lot I was stressed about the fans not working
DUDE!! This is perfect instructions, thank you. Exactly what I needed
Bro, can you control fans colour via software?

Hi sounds like the ARCB hub isn't working correctly, i would install a new ARCB hub, That would be my best guess.
Hey man I’m having the exact same problem you are !! Did you end up fixing it ?? If so how ??
Okay so my motherboard doesn't have a slot for the ARGB plug or the fan header. Unless im missing something?
The fan header that connects to the mobo via 3pin is not PWM.
Does that mean the fans run at max speed all the time?
Great video. My motherboard has 1amp and 2amp fan headers. Is it safe to plug the fan splitter cable into a 1amp header? I can’t find the amp rating of the fans anywhere
Exactly what I was looking for, great video.
God bless you!! I was stressed
How do you get the motherboard to control the rgb? Despite being connected, only the case can control it
Do you need a 3 pin ARGB header on your motherboard or is that just to control the leds from your pc because i dont have a 3 pin argb header and dont mind using the reset button
Hi, I have the same case, but I need the SATA port to connect a new HD. If I remove It from the ARGB controller, will the fans still spinning?
good day! is it possible to add another argb fans and hook it up to the lighting controller? thanks johnny
You can daisy chain ARGB fans.
if my mother board doesnt have any 3 pin connectors how to i connect the argb input?
Connect it to a 4 pin slot
@@birak-x8jare you insane? that’s gonna fry the leds

What Argb hub did you use in the p30 zalman case it didnt come with one Having trouble
Can you change the speed of the fans or not?
I was able to change my fan speed by downloading my mobo’s software (gigabyte) and doing it from the control center
what do i do if i dont have a 3 pin connector for the argb on my motherboard
Can you change the speed of the fans?
yes using your motherboard soft ware or from the bios of your motherboard
Я русский, но даже не смотря на то что я не знаю английского, я все понял🎉Вы молодец
Excellent solution, thanks for the help! 5 stars!
You wouldnt happen to have a cable management video for this case would you?
thank you sir you fix one of my problems, my second problem is my pc keeps turining off idk why
Do you know where the usb 3.0 goes?
underrated creator!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was really helpful pops

@@SomebodyHelp3it only turns on when I am playing rdr2 at ultra settings. Is there a way to keep it always on?
Hello, my motherboard is biostar b660mx-e and it has no 3 pin header to connect the argb input cable. fans are running but no lighting. What to do
hi, it sound like the ARGB is not getting power, check to see if you connected the SATA power to the ARGB Hub. Could be one reason .
@@JohnnyDPCPlayground it was connected. I also tried changing sata power cable, but still no lighting
ok, i would just replace/buy a new ARGB Hub , I think that would be the easiest solution, sorry i could be more help.
@@JohnnyDPCPlaygroundok, i will take the suggestion. Thanks a lot for the hard work
Thank you for the tutotial! Just wondering what motherboard you were using in the video? Coming from a beginner builder 😅

The fix is that u have to press the case's led button for 3 seconds to sync with asus aura.
Hero, got my arb lights working again!
Can i connect it to SYS 1?
It looks like there's 2 more open connections on that hub. Does that imply I can add 2 more ARGB fans to it?
Yes you can
Amazing video. Thank you so much!!
Thank you for the tip, sir
Thank you Sir very useful guide.
I did get it to work, you have to time the hold just right.
I've had my build in this case for about 10 months now and the ARGB randomly stopped working this week. Any ideas

Make sure you plug in your cable into your GPU if you already haven't, instead of the io shield port
Great video!
Very good video! Thank you!
I don’t have a pin on my motherboard and everything is already connected but fans just don’t spin they have led tho
I did this but only two of my case fans will spin, but all them are lighting up, can anyone help me out?
Can i also use just the fans ant not the rgb? I dont want the colours

Try this guys before my fans are not lighting and this save my life😅specially when you use b450 mobo (SATA to 5V 3-Pin RGB Controller)
Thanks
