I'm taller, 6'6"& I was thinking of getting one of these, & just doing away with the front seat & passenger handle. Maybe contouring a thick piece of wood to the backseat to boost it up a little.
I bought a Radrunner bike (same color) in 2021 for my wife. She uses it to take my boy to school. I have only had to replace the brakes twice and hasn't given me any issues whatsoever. Very reliable bike... I feel like buying the Radrunner 3 plus for myself.
I liked Mike's story! I use a Radrunner 2 plus to take my daughter back and forth from school. sometimes she'll just hop on the back for a fun cruise. Yeah, there's probably "better" bikes out there but my Radrunner works great for my use case. I got my EUC and scooters for when I want more power.
@@xPaPaDx I totally see where you're coming from. I met a dude who swapped the motor and controller on his, now it's a beast. The way I (and Mike) use it works fine.
I've got the OG, without suspension. I'm sure I would appreciate it and find it more comfortable, but I still love the bike. Seat? No bueno, but fine for my needs. I'm sure I'll upgrade it at some point. Upgrades: 1. Added the awesome front cargo rack and then got a folding crate. So functional! 2. Additional front LED headlight, along with a rear seat post mounted LED that can be set to steady red, flashing, or red/white flashing. 3. One of my favorites is the center console with built-in cupholder. 4. Misc: Handlebar mirrors (still swapping between bar-end and regular), phone mount, go-pro camera and mount. *4. Future - Since range isn't too important to me, I'm feelin' the need for speed! I'll probably make some changes to add at least 10 mph and if it's worthwhile, I'll add a derailleur for some more flexibility on hills vs flat and so that pedaling is a more viable option.
Great bike, wish more manufacturers would copy the rear frame/passenger option. Agree for the kickstand which would benefit to be cargo class. Wish list: Belt drive.... man, I'm more than willing to fork an extra 500$ to go maintenance and grease free. All urban bikes should have belt drive by now
I’m disappointed that Rad bikes STILL aren’t addressing their problem with cheap front axles with a quick release mechanism. There is an article in this months Bicycling Magazine (Molly’s Last Ride), which explains a serious fault with their front axles. Your point exactly, how can a thin axle handle the weight of a cargo bike? Personally, since reading the article, I am less likely to purchase anything from a company that doesn’t take biker safety seriously.
The fact they haven’t made this with dual shox sucks. I agree horrible display. Love that you can add a battery. Would you put that in the old space the battery use to be in ? Overall you get what you pay for. A lot of brands offer dual shox and dual battery and dual motors for cheaper than this but they just don’t as good as a rad and I like rads customer service
$2299 for this unassembled with zero accessories and one battery vs $1699 for Lectric Xpedition fully assembled with 5 free accessories and 2 batteries. Hmm….😂
Sadly, made In China equates to total rip off, Poor bare minimum wiring thicknesses, those connectors are extremely cheap and poor they never stay connected and they always break off fairly quickly, bare minimum quality Controllers etc Will never buy Chinese. Great Vids guysDefinitely shows how much work you guys put in & amazing advice etc love the vids! Keep it up!
These are good bikes BUT the accessories are just ridiculously priced. It explains the huge sales decline for Rad Power Bikes over the last 18 months but the guy running it hasn't taken a pay cut. I won't claim Lectric bikes are better but they just give their customers more value for their money PERIOD... I've had both a Rad Runner and a Lectric XP 3.0 and for $1734 that I spent on my XP 3.0. I got 2 batteries, a comfort pack, lock and passenger pad foot pegs... Rad power bikes sells everything separated and compaired with everything I bought above you'd spend about $2646 for the same basically stuff🤨...
Definitely not worth $2300.00 when there are many comparable bikes out there with better displays, features, and speed for less than half their price. 🤨
DON’T BUY FROM THEM. total scam of a company. I had the roadrunner plus for a little more than one year and the battery died. Took two months to convince customer service to send a new one (under warranty). Finally they told me they will send it but it’s not in stock and they don’t know when it will be again (!!!). Would not recommend it’s an overpriced piece of garbage.
Congratulations on being one of the few responsible Ebike review creators ive seen!

Ebikes, EUC, Escooters... you've got them all! The Radrunner is a great people mover!
@@freshlycharged Yeah... I'm not good with money

Absolutely fantastic for camping, you can have the family on their bikes while you carry all the tent and pots and pans/sleeping bags ❤🤠🤘👍
😮omg ,Mike is loving it ❤🤠🤘🙏
Radpower E-bike is pretty good my friend own it !! local store service but but pretty expensive service charges !!!
Thanks for the info
Great review!! (I just hit the Subscribe button!) By the way, the "upright kickstand" (@10:25) you're talking about is called a "center stand."

Would this be good for food delivery? Is the range enough for a small town?
next time please review Gotrax F2 thanks
Can you guys please cook a barbecue!? You've had that same bag of charcoal for ages! Hahaha ❤😂
I love this! Been using my gas grill so there's been no need for the charcoal. Maybe we should do a giveaway!

Does it have to look like a total dork mobile just to have that kind of quality? Lol
Lol, we went a little crazy with the accessories. They have a lot of different models to choose from.
but but it's ugly.....
