    The highest profile baseball bat murder weapon case I remember was that of the murder of Vicki Morgan who was the mistress of Alfred Bloomingdale of the Bloomingdales Department Stores fame. She stood to inherit the Bloomingdale Fortune after Alfred's death by cancer in 1982 if she didn't get beaten to death by a fellow drug rehab patient in 1983.

    • @WavyGravy1985
      @WavyGravy1985 2 роки тому +2

      I'm familiar enough with that murder case/ sordid backstory and I seriously disagree that Vickie Morgan would have ever inherited all the money from the
      Alfred Bloomingdales estate. As long as his kids and wife were still alive that never would have happened. She did receive $200,000 dollars from the estate albeit posthumously (after she was dead) when it was no longer of any use to her.

I looked it up later out of curiosity and found that several baseball players had killed their whole families or committed suicide. He probably had permission from her, so it wouldn’t get stolen and it be easier for her to get to. She was an older woman.

      Do you take requests? If so, I'd like to pass along the case of Donnie Farrell who was killed with a blow to the head near his college, Rowan University, on homecoming night. Arrin Stoner covered it and is hoping other true crime UA-camrs will cover it as well since it has not received much media attention. Arrin is the best of the best in detailed analysis of unsolved cases.

    Florence Henderson’s hometown was not Swampscott, MA. That myth has been thoroughly debunked.
    Florence was from Indiana.

    With no intention of slandering or disrespecting the dead. wooded areas are often gay cruising areas. When I lived in Boston, parts of Fenway park (The park next to the stadium) were known gay cruising areas (areas where men hook up), many unwitting gay men have been beaten, robbed, and even murdered by being lured into there unsuspecting of the other guy's intentions (often by straight men posing as gay). Almost every place in America has a known area like this, they are just bigger in big cities. it isn't too difficult to find out whether a place has a reputation for this or not. Not to say that someone was going there for that purpose, but could have been lured into such an area.
